Demonstrating to the team you're in charge of that you give a shit about them shouldn't be viewed as a negligible gesture.4 points

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I have lived through a lot of incredible politicians. Reagan/Clinton/Obama top the lists. They were able to command their group at an amazing level. But for all three of them, I could totally see what people saw in them, even in the ones I didn't personally care for. I couldn't stand Bill Clinton, but could totally see WHY people did respect him. But for all three of them, it did feel like there was an amount of substance to add to why people could follow them. People agree with their policies and their leadership qualities. There wasn't the same cult of personality there was with Trump. With all three of them, it was about them AND the party. Reagan was a Republican and wanted to lead the party. Clinton and Obama were Democrats first. Trump has never been about party, leadership, or country. It is about him. He sold himself. The rest didn't matter. He would be perfectly willing to destroy this country if it meant he still came out ahead. I never felt that about any other President until this one. It really is like a cult. I fully believe if DJT got on television tonight and told people to start killing Democrats, the USA would look like 1994 Rwanda before dawn.3 points

All I have to say at this point is you cannot claim you are patriotic and support a President who literally says, "Stop counting the votes and declare me the winner, everyone knows I won." These people are always the one who tell you to leave America if you don't like the way things are. If you support that shit, then maybe YOU ought to move... to North Korea where dictators actually might do shit like that.3 points

We have an email that says otherwise. Also, Rick Hahn doesn't outline his press conference like he does if he intended to hire LaRussa.3 points

It would have been shocking if the President had handled this with class. Literally everyone knew what would happen if the President lost, including the President.3 points

The thing I'm hoping for most from the Biden presidency is that I never have to hear from the #Resistance twitter grifters ever again.3 points

Oh so nice to wake up and see Biden finally taking the lead in both Pennsylvania and Georgia. It has been 3 long days, but totally worth the angst.3 points

PA could very likely be called today, NV should be called today, and GA could also be called. AZ won't matter, but there's still a chance for Biden to win there, too. If he takes all four, the elections ends up not being that close. Biden would have 306 electoral votes. Even without AZ, he's at 295. Again, had some states, especially PA, been allowed to count mail-in votes early, this could have been called Tuesday night.3 points

G7 is just putting on his sock puppet to toss in a load of hyperbole with a sprinkle of sarcasm. Best of luck there in Kansas. Them farmers are going to be rioting when they feel marginalized, without a voice, no power or even access to power, and the whole country against them. Soon they will feel the entire system is rigged to keep them down and they just can't win. Then if a police officer or two gets a little nervous and scared in the face of a farmer the police may shoot one or two of them then it will be hell in Kansas. But you already know that which is why you are crying out for some help. I'm humbled that G7 is looking to old Tex for some help when the chips are down. Ironically my keyboard keeps wanting to type cops when I was swiping chips. Whoo-e that's scary ain't it? Now I might be changing my opinion from an earlier post but a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 would be a great choice. You better hurry down to a gun store because Biden will take away everyone's right to a little iron. And get yourself plenty of ammo because it's going to be in very short supply. You're also going to need fortification on your home. Personally a backyard bunker makes the most sense but bulletproof glass or brick in your windows is a great start. Then a sealed off panic room somewhere inside. Make certain no radio waves or wifi signal can get in or out for extra security. And get yourself a haircut before going in, it could be a long time. And don't forget food. Biden's socialist agenda will cause massive food shortages. For single guys I'm a big fan of charro beans and Tabasco for survival food. Pro tip, have enough tp on hand with that diet. Keep your head down, don't be a hero.3 points

Did you see tonight the Portland mob went to the house of a city commissioner to kill him and burn his house down for his vote today? Deny it all your want, folks, it's happening. Check Andy Ngo's twitter video. Tex please send me a pic of that revolver I need to buy again. Yes I'm scared. Please Mr. Biden, solve this mess during your 4-8 years! Too much anger in America; too many government official allowing the mobs to do as they please. SCARY folks.3 points

Like I said I never thought that about another President. But watching the direct correlation between his threats and language towards others, and the amount of danger those people get put in is sobering. I mean he basically talked a group of Michigan militia men into a kidnapping plot against the Michigan governor. What other American politician can you say that about? Dr Fauci has to have security details and can't go for a jog anymore because of the threats on his life. Kyle Rittenhouse went up to Wisconsin and shot a couple of people, full intending to do so. Its nuts.2 points

As a republican which you kind of claim to be who cares. I am a republican and I dont care. I really dont care that agent orange is out of the white house. The only thing he did was to screw up our party. I don't live in Oregon. You don't live in Oregon. If you did live in Oregon, then move. If their moronic local and state gov wants to deal with the antifa and the proud boys playing "Gangs of New York LARP battle royale" then great. Once again. I don't live there. Stupid games will win stupid prizes in the end. Maybe one of them next can bring a wooden horse to the others side and see if that finally breaks the spat between two groups of morons.2 points

I saw it with my own eyes on stream and Wheeler tweeted about it today. The mob is real and it's nightly in Portland. The 20 to 30 something white thugs dress in full body armor with shields and umbrellas every night and march and terrorize. It's real and yes it's Orwellian. They want blood. They usually settle on smashing up cars and windows of stores and throw molotov's at cops and into buildings. It's insane and yes I fear it. Wrong place wrong time ... boom, bat to the head. Again I don't care which side is doing it. I want 'em arrested. Fat chance. They get off when 'arrested.'2 points

McCann doesn't care about being a "starting:" catcher. He just wants to make starting catcher money. If TLaR wants McCann, he will probably get signed here.2 points

Hahn hasn’t really earned the right to call the shots. All the losing over the last ten years. Specifically never brought in a dh or a manager that wasn’t terrible. He’s good at signing pre arb guys and even that seems kind of fishy that he excels at that but is terrible at everything else. He’s lucky to have a job1 point

Found this hidden gem on Twitter. Merkin says: 1. No one really knows how much the Sox will spend. 2. He does NOT squash a Bauer signing, says the Sox will be interested. 3. He does NOT squash the Springer possibility but says the Sox prefer a lefty. 4. He mentions Quintana a lot 5. Says the Sox want to sign 2 veteran starters. All significant because in years past, he would have squashed all these ideas if the Sox were indeed not going to spend.1 point

As I said in the other thread, they missed their window to deal Lindor, He is a year from free agency and about to pull down a twenty million dollar (or more) paycheck in a time period where teams are going to be desperately trying to cut salary. I get the feeling the price an acquiring team pays to get him is going to be woefully light.1 point
