  1. Can I start a Twitter account named White Castles and pull rumors out my butt then get them posted on here too?

  2. LOL looks like Harold could use some newer inside sources.

  3. Yes, this makes me frustrated. I already said that. You realize "you mad?" doesn't work when the person states he's mad? And virtue signal by asking people to be held accountable to same way others would be? OK, champ. I can post whatever i like here; just like you can post your nonsense over and over.

  7. Agree; our legal system is broken AF but sadly the only people that can exploit those cracks are people with money or influence.

  8. Kopech is that one piece that feels like you could really get your ass handed to you for moving him. I think he's got quite a bit of risk, but the ceiling is still so tantalizing.

  9. Hilarious that you think this is funny or cool. Yes, how great that rich and wealthy people like La Russa with billionaire friends don't actually have to follow the law and can endanger peoples lives with no repercussions. Get fvked for this one, harold.

  10. On Friday, the White Sox need to add players to the 40-man in order to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft. Jake Burger, Gavin Sheets, Tyler Johnson and Will Kincanon are the most likely. I wrote about it here: https://www.futuresox.com/2020/11/16/40-man-roster-decisions-and-2020-rule-5-draft-implications/

  11. He refuses to acknowledge his old title as "Soxtalk nicknamer" and his past history regarding HoT FiRe. He won't even acknowledge the nickname when mentioned in a post. You can't run from your past, @ChiliIrishHammock24! Admit to it or it will consume you!

  18. Why? Pagano is trash. And why are we blaming Nagy this week? This team has a talent deficit. I don't care if they were running the I-Form all game long, they would still lose. They don't have players on the offensive side of the ball. It begins with the line and it has been ignored or mis evaluated since Cutler was yelling at his OLineman. Gotta stop the Chicago mentality of trying to find a scapegoat. Pace has been terrible with asset management. That is at the top of the list for a GM.

  19. The Indians are really good at giving up broken goods right before they break. Kluber last off-season and now Clevinger. Although you can argue the Rangers knew that Kluber carried a decent amount of risk given his injury history.

  20. I'm sorry I'm voicing some concern at two twitter accounts named after food/restaurants with unverifiable information so far. Damn me for questioning things. Since the rumor mill has started up this offseason what information on his timeline has been backed up any of the national guys so far? Genuinely curious and please let me know if I'm missing something.

  21. I could be wrong, but I think it's the asking them here to tweet specific phrases like "bark twice if you're in Milwaukee" or w.e. that may be bothering some people. I'm enjoying the conversation that is being drum up since there's nothing else (positive) really to discuss at the moment.

  22. Keep doing you Adam. Your posts bring the only conversation had on this board lol. Those burners are entertaining if nothing else.

  24. Have you guys thought about how it is feasible that we could trade for sale, sign quintana, eaton, todd frazier, joakim soria AND david robertson this offseason?

  25. "Drunk driving is cool, snowflake" is such an appalling position to take, and the amount of people going with it (more so on Twitter than ST) is discouraging

  28. I agree those will be close to the final answer, but they shouldn't be. Personally I think Vaughn, but only if he could bring a top pitcher, makes the most sense to deal for a front line guy. Why? #1, the offense is already loaded, and will be for years. #2, Vaughn is a 1B/DH type, despite the hype that he is trying out different positions, meaning he is the easiest to replace of the position players, plus we already have depth in those spots, especially if we bring back a James McCann. #3, We are way likely to need pitching depth over the next half decade than 1B/DH depth. Pitchers get hurt more often, they flame out more often, and have inexplicable periods of mediocrity. Even if we have pitching depth, it might not last.

  29. I used to laugh at them but then their insane decisions still ended up netting them more playoff appearances than the sox during the 2010s (not hard).

  30. 100%. Tired of wealthy people and famous people and etc not having to follow the same legal system and laws that the majority do. Im glad you think that's cool. Maybe they'll toss you some scraps from the big boy table for all your water carrying. Poor - go to jail. Rich - get handys from weird guys like harold who would be going to jail of they did it. Hopefully your hero gives you the proper attention for all your hard work.

  31. So I guess this means that LaRussa is here to stay. I wonder if JR did anything to make those charges disappear? Next year's baseball season is ruined for me. I'm not going to lie and say I won't watch, but I cannot root for TLR or Reinsdorf at this point.

  32. It’s a symptom of Mitch McConnell being a piece of trash prioritizing a Supreme Court judge and humoring Trump’s asinine election complaints to drive the base to vote in Georgia for the special elections rather than actually giving a damn about Americans.

  33. Trading a guy who we drafted highly and who we have never once seen against minor league competition for an expensive player with 1 year of control? Love it, classic Rick Hahn special.

  34. Holy shit. Let me guess: you "read this" on some impossibly stoopid partisan website designed to scare the gullible and the stoopid. Setting aside that the stoopid shit you just posted would never, ever pass, how exactly would a $450k payout pass? For your edification, those assholes in congress couldn't even pass a meager $1200 payout to people that are hurting during this pandemic, yet you stupidly believe that a $450k payout to black people WOULD pass? I'm fvkcing embarrassed for you. Turn off the fvkcing TV, turn off social media (except for soxtalk), buy a fvkcing book/read it, and get some fvkcing exercise. What you've been reading online and watching on TV has been actively making you stoopider.

  36. I think that I would have heard "accusations" of LaRussa being a racist before this shit happened. Especially since I have never like the guy in the first place. I just think that this guy is an egotistical cheating asshole. But despite being one, he still made it into the HOF in spite of his being an egotistical cheating asshole. I think that in this day and age of cancel culture and the other crap that goes along with it, that if there were allegations about him being a guy who despises black players, that this would have been screamed to high heaven on the national sports media. Not a peep to my knowledge.

  37. You are missing part of that equation for the White Sox.

  38. Jake Burger is an interesting case. I wonder if this was the reason the Sox didn't share info from the remote site. I mean you make it as difficult as possible for teams to gather information on these guys so the picking them is even harder. Even if Jake Burger looked like he was expected to look when the Sox picked him, can you take up a 25/26 man roster space to take a chance on him, especially knowing you are probably picking at 1b/DH type.

  39. Calm down, man. Harold made a tongue in cheek comment. You're smart enough to know he isn't actually in favor of tolerating drunk driving.

  43. We literally just got rid of the guy who failed to develop these young pitchers. Maybe give the new guy a shot with the former top 30 prospect with than a full season of starts to his name?

  44. Thats too bad. Has he ever thought of stopping his org from making stoopud decisions (apart from Grandal/Keuchel) over and over again? Has he thought about firing his incompetent team president, and hiring someone with actual ability? Or modernizing his FO, so that they stop making stoopid decisions? I, for one get tired of seeing them make decisions that pretty much everyone with 2 working eyes and minimum of familiarity with the game can see will be moronic decisions? (EE, Mazara, Gio Gonzalez, now TLR, etc, ad nauseum...)

  45. I feel awful for the restaurants, and hope something can be done to save them (Mitch McConnell). The one thing I don’t understand walking around my neighborhood with no indoor dining, is why is dining indoors bad, but dining in an enclosed tent on the sidewalk is just fine? Seems to me to be the same problem only colder. In fact Tavern on Rush has constructed an enclosed glass structure covering the sidewalk. Why aren’t these considered inside? I know one thing, there isn’t a chance in hell I will be in one unless I just have to get Covid.
