At some point, these guys are going to have to tough it out. They need consistent ab’s against major league pitching more than an extra day of rest. We cannot expect them to enter the playoffs and immediately click for the Houston series

Grandpa thinks that he can declare tomorrow the playoffs and magically they will just start winning like they are the 27 Yankees. He also thinks he can win games today with the C team lineup and AA pitchers throwing as well. His own ego is part of the issue.

I disagree. I don;t think we are in first place with another manager. The amount of injuries that have happened, I'm not sure another manager would have been to get that out of these guys in the first half. Even if it's something as simple as getting guys into the outfield who had never played before. TLR will win manager of the year pretty easily.

I also predict the White Sox to win the WS - as I have all season. Reinsdorf/La Russa riding off into the sunset in the final parade car will be a story for the ages.

Since you've been here, I'd estimate 90% of your posts have been about how this team sucks, how they won't advance in the playoffs, and arguing with anyone who disagrees with you. So the question is....why are you here? Why are you taking time out of your day to post on a White Sox message board, a team you think isn't very good and isn't going to do anything in the postseason? Why are you spending time here?

This game will end with 2 Ks and four infield groundouts but it will be Tony LaRussa's fault. If they are swept out of the playoffs they need to look at the offensive make up of this team. There are just too many terrible at bats in every game and zero adjustments made.
