I wonder what both sides feel about a deal around Whit Merrifield
Burger + Ruiz for Merrifield
Stiever + Schryver for Merrifield
Lambert + Burdi for Merrifield
Thompson + Horn for Merrifield
Something like that
The Sox IIRC haven't made a really significant deal (significant player for significant prospect deal) with the Royals since IIRC the Mike MacDougal deal.
Sox could look to expand it and add Soler and/or a RP.
Niot sure I want Dayton Moore and those guys picking over our system, but thinking about it, I could see a Merrifield deal coming together.
Zero chances on all

I have seen some good ones, but replacing Moncada with Burger ranks high.
Coming from you i will take as a compliment, but the statement still stands, the golden boy has zero power.

There’s always plenty of teams who can use a young power hitting corner infielder.
Yes like our team, our third baseman has a whole 3 homeruns can someone as strong as moncada is has zero power.

This right here.
Rick Hahn has sat on his ass for way too long trying to wait for some sort of miracle to happen after losing Eloy and Robert.
I don't care if it's carousel from Charlotte at this point, but need to try something else here over Garcia, Hamilton, Lamb and Medick.
Hell, Eaton doesn't even look any sort of lock the rest of the way.
Get to work Rick!
Great comment hahn never acts, everything with him is at a snail's pace, changes need be made asap, they need a blood infusion, they have 4 outs in there lineup every game and that isn't including madrigal.

This is seriously getting out of hand. Someone in the FO (Rick Hahn) needs to go to JR and issue an ultimatum. There's absolutely nothing to indicate TLR is a competent manager for any team, much less this team.
Time to start calling your season ticket reps.
And you actually think Rick Hahn knows baseball?

Vaughn struggling so he sits? Eaton struggling and banged up so he goes to LF so Lamb can play RF? What exactly is the logic other than more of TLR’s special brilliance?
Could it be less area to cover in right and with a left handed pitcher more balls to left.

Marshall doesn't have dominant stuff that he is trying to regain. The guy was a journeyman who had a couple decent seasons. Baseball history is littered with guys like him. The Sox should be looking for his replacement pronto.
The White Sox never do anything pronto, this team as constructed is going nowhere, they have at least 4 easy outs in there lineup every day.

I'd rather see Hamilton than Leury in CF tbh.
Me too at least Hamilton is a good outfielder

Well, considering the minor league season just started two nights ago, Stiever looked good.
If the pen comes around, the Sox may be able weather the storm until Eloy and Robert return. But man, this rotation hitting so far has been saving this season, with the lineup getting battered and the pen finding its footing.
At this point they have nothing in the minors including your possible selection of stiever who just came up and did not get 1 out, when there pitching injuries come and they will they will be in big trouble.

1-2 of our SP will either get hurt or get tired this year, having the depth is a very big plus.
What depth do they have when there are pitchers injured?

Sounds to me like the bigger issue is Rick Hahn over Tony LaRussa.
The White Sox since the 2016 draft have had the opportunity to draft 165 people and they can't find 1 outfielder to bring up, hahn and the rest of them have failed miserably, they don't care why should we?

OK, let's play the blame game..
The Sox got 2 hits in 10 innings. LOL.
Vaughn 0-3 with a strike-out and a key grounder into double play to kill a potential rally.
Why did Tony even start Vaughn against a tough pitcher like Gray? Vaughn has been over-matched against top pitching.
Because they had no one else

Yeah. I could be a dick and say "I told you so" but frankly even I didn't foresee us being THIS devastated by injuries. But that doesn't excuse how terrible our GM has been with signings and lack of them. We could still make a push for the playoffs but even just getting there almost looks bleak now. Imagine if Eaton gets injured (likely) now. Lord...
I have to really give you credit you know what you are talking about, hahn and the rest of the clowns making baseball decisions have done a horrible job they have had since 2016 to build this team, think about it they have no viable outfielder to bring up, this is both unbelievable and unacceptable but guess what that is what being a White Sox is all about.

The Sox don’t win according to their production numbers. Which are not great. But good enough for a better record. They seem to be losers that believed their own hype. This humbling was necessary.
Great post, you are spot on, they have won nothing, until you do just shut the blank up. They had since 2016 to build this team and they can't even replace a left fielder with someone who is major league capable . Their drafts have been garbage, teams like the angels and Dodgers have 39 and 33 rd round picks that make a huge difference, the whitesox they have no bench, and do think anyone in this garbage organization gives a shit, no only us stupid ads fans.
