Too bad we dont feel Dunning is ready. It'd be nice to see what he can do in order to know what needs to be done for next year. We know Gio/DK/Cease/Kopech are locks. If we saw something good from Dunning we'd just need to bring a #3 type pitcher bc all good teams need 6 starters (not to mention we dont know how Kopech will react from his surgery coming back next year especially after such a huge lay off)

No. Too risky this year. we dont know if the season will end. The only guy that makes sense is Bauer and he will cost. Imagine trading future pieces for him, the season ends, and now he's a FA and we lost players. Maybe Stroman if he does not cost more than players to be named based on how the season ends.

Agreed. Bummer has made anyone questioning the extension foolish. Heuer looks good. Marshall surprised me last year and is carrying it over. Cordero/Det look good. Colome, like last year, is making it happen although at times w/ more work than ideally you'd want from a closer. Once Cishek gets it together I like our pen. Which is needed considering what's happening to the rotation and what is needed to compete in the play-offs.

I'd really like to sign someone like Scooter that can play OF and 2nd. Good depth move and he's gotta be cheap.

You dont see the difference? Panic suggesting the team makes trades that could impact the future. Stating the season could end before completion due to a virus. Something that for a fact a lot of people thought could happen before the season even started.

IMO we go 6 man rotation: Giolito DK Cease Lopez (We need to see how he progresses I dont want him pitching low innings or splitting games) Gio Kopech/Rodon to see who has what and then move one into the full role and the other as a spot starter/long relief.

I'm guessing based on his potential and age they'd rather see if he can break out and hit lefties vs simply not giving him a shot. I'd give him RF but keep a short leash. If he doesn't show he has learned how to hit lefties you platoon him.

havent seen a chance to actually see Fulmer pitch. Looks like he had another good outing. I assume he is effective but wild? If he keeps this up, based on his draft status, I assume he is the last BP arm to make it to the majors.

Really like him. Baseball needs someone to add some "swag" to the game. I feel like Bryce did but then it died off. Puig did but he got too out of control.

Voted competitive wire to wire. Everything would have to go right for us to make the play-offs this year. Abrue doesnt regress Madrigal plays well out of the gates TA repeats or slightly regresses Moncada repeats or improves Eloy improves Gio repeats etc. My expectations rise to play-offs next year though.

If we trade McCann I would rather keep Collins down to get at bats and work on his D every day vs being in a back-up roll up here. I think we need Collins next year as a DH/C/1b guys once EE and McCann are gone. I know he cant play D well but why not have Mercedes up as the back-up C? Is he that much worse behind the plate than Collins?

Colome is not looking good this spring and was not looking good towards the later part of the season. I think he has earned being OD closer but I have a feeling he wont be by mid-season. I think Cishek will be, but man.... how awesome would it be if Burdi became our closer after all he has been through.

Really wish we had room for Mercedes.... if only he was even passable in the OF. I have these weird feeling he'll end up a poor man's version of Ortiz somewhere else.
