I am not an insider I’m just a Sox news fiend that talks to a lot of people. And I’ve been on this forum for like 13 years and like to read and participate like anyone else.

So now I am faced with the conundrum of wanting to participate honestly, given things I know to be true or not at all and watch you guys all trip over stuff that is nonsense.

Thats really the only reason I sort of vaguely refer to things I’ve heard.

Not because I want to brag.

I agree with you 100%. I wouldnt bother sharing anything, your going to be ridiculed if you say it and if you dont say it. Anyone on here that does share, it should be taken with a grain of salt and spark educated baseball conversation.

Its just getting a bit hostile in this thread at times and its because we are craving from a positive tweet from Rosenthal. Anything said is becoming chaotic.

    Keep doing you

Last week (I think), BJ Upton was a guest on a number of MLB Network shows. I found it interesting that he said for him having close friends and family on the team would be a big deal and play into his decisionmaking quite a bit when choosing a team. It was the first I'd heard a player take much of a position on the issue one way or another.

He did say that last week.

Rabbit said something about Palehose1 being legit but spelled it paleose1 so that threw everyone off about who he meant and also failed to say it was a comment on MLBTR where that person said the Pederson deal was done. Palehose1 guy said Fulmer, Bummer and low level prospect then another twitter guy said it was Bummer, Fulmer and Laz Rivera but also said Machado and Pederson deals will both be announced at Soxfest.

This is not good for my health. 🤷🏿‍♀🤷🏿‍♀🤷🏿‍♀

I really hope at this point that the parties are working their way towards a middle number. It would really suck if the Sox were still on 175, or 250, and Lozano was still stuck over 300+.

But maybe theyve figured out a general number and years and now are just finishing up the fine details. WSD tweet would lead me to lean more towards the latter.

I personally think its kind of a stand off right now with bryce and manny. I think pitchers and catchers will report first.
