The injury excuses makes me want to throw my phone.  The sad thing is the decision makers think this organization is in good shape.

I can see league GMs voting Rick Hahn as GM of the Year in October.

It's not like he did any better of a job in 2020 (Mazara, Encarnacion, Keuchel, Grandal), plus you keep him around for perhaps a few more years.

  3. If the Sox don't acquire an actual legitimate Right Fielder this offseason, and don't promote Colas until May, don't buy Hahn's spin they are trying to compete for anything in 2023, let alone "Multi-Championship Seasons".

Oscar Colas (OBP / SLG / OPS)

    • (2016-2020) Cuban National Series .382 / .487 / .869
    • (2017-2019) Japan Western & Pacific Leagues .343 / .483 / .826
    • (2022) Minor Leagues A+ / AA / AAA .369 / 513 / .882

This is not a competitive swing.  No stride, just flails at it.  Pull this lazy mother fucker off the field right now.

Agreed, but not sure they have 9 other guys with two functioning arms and wrists.

Can't put guys on the IL, they might come back to go 0 for 4 within the next 10 days.

Abreu is leading the majors in DPs hit.

He's regressed a bit in the second half, that is for certain (.857 First Half OPS vs. .791), one of the few healthy Sox hitters (Robert exempt) not doing better in the second half than the first.

Legacy, hah! This team is not your Michael  Jordan led Chicago Bulls! It's over.

Sadly, like Bulls fans we are stuck with Jerry at the end.

“[Krause] didn’t take that apart — anyone who thinks that is a fool,” said Barkley. That thing was orchestrated by Jerry Reinsdorf. The notion that that little man broke up the Bulls is asinine and absurd … Jerry Reinsdorf broke up the Bulls ’cause he didn’t want to pay anybody. You think about this — he let Horace Grant go because he became a free agent and they didn’t want to pay him. They probably don’t want to talk about that in the documentary. That’s why he went to Orlando. He only paid Michael [Jordan] the last two years. When he had Michael at a bargain, he was happy.

“To try to make Krause the bad guy, I thought that was very disingenuous of Reinsdorf.”

    Here come the injury excuses…

Well, if he wants to stick around, he better get used to it, as every guy mentioned in that quote, and a dozen more miss significant time most seasons.

Abreu and Vaughn are the two most dependable players, and most here want both gone next year.

If only a GM had some solution to a manager who plays guys constantly out of position.

The difference being Billy is the guy who trades away an expensive old  Pollock, not trades for two expensive years of Age 34-35 Pollock.

Colas is the only player in the entire organization who had a chance at nailing a positive WAR in RF this season.

Engel can’t physically play regularly anymore, and can no longer can hit. Pollock would be brutal in RF, not much better than Vaughn/Sheets with a worse bat. Leury? OK

    Mazara, Eaton, Pollock. Just wow.

Was that the year they targeted a star named Berry but accidentally got some other Berry, or something like that?

Can’t fault Kenny for targeting Halle.

Maybe the funniest thing of the year is they brought Pollock in to play RF and it took one game for those plans to change

I read some Hahn apologist covering baseball claim the week Vaughn and Sheets playing the corners regularly are Tony’s, not Hahn’s idea, and that Hahn wanted Pollock playing right field this season.

Sad but true unfortunately. That's why I keep stressing to fans, take care of yourself, outlive JR and see what new ownership can do because his family will sell the team (and keep the Bulls as per JR's instructions to them.)

Waiting for the demise of Jerry Reinsdorf or Keith Richards (just under eight years younger) is a fools errand. They will both outlive us all.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with this team?  I'd love to see a Venn diagram of this guy's fans and White Sox fans.  Literally no one in the intersection.  His wikipedia says he is a satanist.  This is starting to be like the movie Major League.

Brooks Boyer has jumped the shark.

There needs to be an Exorcism expelling Satan from the entire organization.
