I have been pleasantly surprised when Shirley changed the direction of the team somewhat at least as far as some acquisitions. So good things can happen with change, even if it’s blind luck. As long as JR gets his dusty ass out of the way. He was moved aside when the rebuild began. I don’t know what stalled it out, but he again was a part of the stall at least.

Neglectfully overrated by the FO which failed to move the roster forward twice. Over the winter, and at the deadline. Not to mention handicapped by ownership. They had a chance man. That said, they will likely back into the playoffs. If they bow out quickly, the people that get fired should be joined by the Chairman.

He is who he is. But only the White Sox would insist on playing him at a power position while in dire need of power.

Right now, the relative salaries should be the determining factor. Despite the nonsense that the Sox were legitimately chasing mega salaried players, this payroll should largely be considered topped out. As such, an opportunity to use Moncada’s money/roster spot in a more productive way should be pursued

Lets just say that if you doubted his raw ability to hit based on small sample size, that’s needlessly negative. People just doubt he won’t trip and fall. A true addition that one could have confidence in would be a second baseman or outfielder added.

Dalla Kuechel was the last guy on the team who would get on the team about focus and attitude. Unfortunately when he decided to suck, there was absolutely no vocal leadership left in the organization

I can't say for sure. But it is curious that when TA takes a lot of criticism about his glove, he then seems to focus better about making unforced errors

He's pretty good at oblique criticism. But he's pretty much taken a position against negativity about this team. Funny thing is, I don't believe it has to do with his job as much as it has to do with people that annoy him on twitter
