    ALDS Game 3 - HOU @ CWS - 7:07pm CDT

Winston was crying because the Sox lost. Or he was just being a brat and wanted his food early.

Lynn to start Game 1, Giolito Game 2

Are we basing Gio's struggles with early starts with one awful start against the Red Sox? Because he killed it last year and that game start at Noon local time in Oakland.

Lynn to start Game 1, Giolito Game 2

I mean if Lynn get bombed and Gio shoves, I think there is no question that if it goes to five, he goes back to Gio. Who knows. Hope Lance shoves tomorrow.

Lynn to start Game 1, Giolito Game 2

I believe Gio can still start Game 5 on normal rest. Could be wrong though.

Lynn to start Game 1, Giolito Game 2

Also Lynn has added two pitches since that Astros start. I would have pushed for Gio but I also can see having Gio be your stopper if things go south.

Lynn to start Game 1, Giolito Game 2

Gio's masterful game one victory last year an afternoon game. Like west coast time, that had to have been a 1pm start.

Abreu not with the team in Houston????

Of course. But the team has also said it's non covid related and specified. I assume he got tested and it came back negative. I don't think Hahn would have said non covid related if he had covid.

Abreu not with the team in Houston????

Hahn said he was under the weather with a non covid related thing. Pito had covid last winter and is vaccinated. Maybe it's a cold and they don't want him flying to risk ear infection or something. Probably fly him tomorrow?

    Difficult To Assess This Series

To be honest, I haven't been this confident about a sports team since Michigan was in the NCAA tournament in 2018. I was fairly confident, especially after the round of 32 that they were headed to the finals. I just think this team is built for a deep postseason run. They are finally starting to click on all cylinders. Anything can happen but I feel very confident in saying we win in 4.

    White Sox-Astros Game 1 3:07 Start Time

The MLB have it listed second because Tampa is the number one seed. The bracket is in order of seeding I believe. Mlb.com schedule on the app has it listed first.

    White Sox-Astros Game 1 3:07 Start Time

Ugh. I have tickets to Dune damnit. The premiere. My friend is in it. And I did this knowing I would suffer. I had banked on it being an afternoon game. I'm also attending with an Astros fan. This could break out in a brawl.

    Difficult To Assess This Series

I also think that helped the As against us. Luckily we have more veteran presence than we did last year and pretty much all of our key guys have had meaningful appearances in the playoffs now. In an alterante universe where the Sox weren't in the playoffs, I'd likely root for Baker to get a World Series ring. But fuck that now.

    Difficult To Assess This Series

I know people disregard baseball experts but many people are still saying the White Sox are AL favorites. I think if this bullpen and rotation pitch like they have in the final week, it's going to be pretty hard to stop us. The issue that other teams have is that they are going to have a much harder time winning 1-0 or 3-2 games. If the offense isn't clicking, they are still built to win low scoring games because of their bullpen and starting pitching.

Looks like the Hendriks kid met the Hendriks Man as well. But instagram is down and can't link the picture.

    Difficult To Assess This Series

Sox are clicking on all cylinders coming into this. Key guys in the bullpen have been lights out. Yeah they lost yesterday but come on, ReyLO was pitching the ninth and they pinch hit for their two best players with a runner on. I really like where we are at. Astros, while they have won 2 in a row, have struggled as of late. I think we split the first two games in Houston. We win whichever game Gio pitches. But I don't think the Astros can touch us at home. I think we win in 4. It's a tough series and it's pretty evenly matched but on paper, the White Sox do have the edge in just about every category.

My guess is, looking at 2019, that it'll be a 5pm EST first pitch.

TLR anticipates Keuchel pitching in relief tonight

Keuchel has value on the roster but only as a Starter. I think if Rodon had not been able to go Wednesday and his status was in doubt, it's no question that Keuchel would make the roster. However Rodon looks fine and will likely start Game 4. I don't see it with Keuchel. ALCS is a different story.

    10/1 Tigers @ Sox 7:10PM CT

He should have close to 20 wins right now. That combined with his ERA would have netted him the Cy Young.

Should Leury Garcia start over Hernandez at 2nd base vs. Stros ?

For me, it's not Leury v Cesar but it's more Cesar V Engel. Yeah, that doesn't make sense but if we all agree that Leury needs to be in the lineup and if Leury can play every position on the field, the comparison than comes between two spots Leury can play. Cesar over his last 15 games is hitting .255. And over his last seven is .261. It's not great but Engel over his last 15 games is htting .229 and over his last 7, .182. For me it's pretty obvious. You start Cesar at 2nd Base and put Leury in RF.
