Don't ride him so hard that he can't win in the postseason, but yeah, some team that is desperate for starting pitching is going to offer him more years and/or dollars than would make sense for the Sox, barring an injury to one of the other starters. 100% yes. Look at Cleveland this year. Lance Lynn may not pitch at a Cy Young level the next two years, but he's a good bet to pitch all or nearly all of the next two years. Giolito has a pretty good track record of reliability. Keuchel is even valuable in the sense that he's at least going to be better than the guy you have to call up from AAA to replace your injured starter. For the record I think Rodon has turned a corner and will be a 180+ innings guy going forward, but I'd still have a hard time betting a huge contract on that.

Yes, mainly since Rodon won't sign a bargain deal so there's really only one option left.
