  1. There's no question the offense isn't doing the job for him, abozichiu. I'm just saying he shouldn't b**** about it; just blame it on hard luck or (better yet) take the blame himself for a bad start, and he wouldn't piss so many people off. You're right, but no one is perfect and I'm sure he's frustrated with his performance just like we are. But I agree, he shouldn't have said what he said. Everyone makes mistakes though, it's part of life.
  2. That's why I got a dish and MLB extra innings. Now I get every game except the ones on WCI PUKE.
  3. For those who say everyone is getting equal run support, recheck your stats. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/current/...t03.html#luck10 It's not an excuse, but there's no disputing that the offense isn't doing it's job for MB.
  4. What was your impression of Borch? Really nice guy. He signed about 4 balls for me. I went to the hotel around 1 in the afternoon and thought maybe I'd catch him leaving for lunch or something. Sure enough, I saw him laying outside next to the pool and asked some other guys who appeared to be Knights teammates if that was him. They said to go ahead out there. I introduced myself and he was really easy to talk to. Sat there for about 30 mins and talked Sox baseball and he answered all the questions I had. So my impression of him was great. When I heard him at Soxfest he came off as extremely smart. He was well studied, a hard worker, and a quick learner. Going to Stanford will do that for ya. I love the guy, I hope he pans out because he'll be great for the city of Chicago.
  5. They asked him some questions, he answered them. They should have asked him where the f*** the offense was the past 4 starts and he could have let loose on his teammates after those games, but he didn't. This isn't New York and we don't turn on people after 3 or 4 bad starts. Look at his season stats and you tell me how many of those 10 he should have actually lost.

  7. I live here, so you know I'll be there. Went to the team hotel last year and that's how I met Borchard and talked with him for about 30 mins. Lemme know where you're gonna meet and I'll come through.
  8. Buehrle is exactly right with his comments. The past 3 or 4 times out, he's pitched well and hasn't gotten any run support. Therefore, he should maybe have 6 losses at the most. You don't boo a guy who's had the success Buehrle has this early in his career, give him a break. As far as your comment about him being the number one reason we aren't in contention, you are definitely wrong about that. I would put a number of offensive players ahead of Buehrle if you are going to place the blame somewhere, but you lose as a team and you win as a team. I am sure that if the Sox were in first place and Buehrle was 10-2, you wouldn't be posting that he is the reason we are in first. Instead, you take this opportunity to rip him because he's an easy scapegoat. That's all fine and well, just get your facts straight. I still love ya MB and will never rip you even if you lose 100 games.
  9. Let's keep it on the 6th page with another White Sox winner this evening.
  10. I think Almonte is a little high, I don't see him making it to the majors with the Sox.
  11. If you're going on stats, then you should have Borowski in there instead of Billy Botch.
  12. I'd go with C Olivo 1B Thomas 2B Jimenez SS Gonzo 3B Crede RF Maggs CF Patterson LF Alou SP Prior Closer Borowski
  13. That might be my last resort. I just wonder if security will let any scalper near the ballpark without arresting them. If they do, then you will be able to find something at a somewhat reasonable price.
  14. I'd go to the Cell the day of the game and wait until just around game time and when scalpers start getting stuck with tickets, they'll come down on their prices. Happens all the time at all sorts of events.
  15. Well no need for Eyre, but hell I always forget Burks in a Sox uni for some reason. Maybe because I was in Okinawa that year he was with us. Isn't he hurt right now though? Yes he is hurt, I'm just going to add anyone I can think of above.
  16. Scott Eyre Ellis Burks Sean Lowe Roberto Hernandez Wilson Alvarez Jim Parque Antonio Osuna Julio Ramirez LOL
  17. Have we ever tried this? O E O El Caballo O E O El Caballo. Carlos Lee

    Damnit!

If Buehrle and Colon pitch well these next two games, we can get on a nice streak with the sorry ass Padres coming into town.
  19. It means he didn't blow the game.
  20. Konerko wouldn't have taken only 3 million a year...
  21. I'll take Acevedo, he saved over 20 games last year on the piss ass Tigers.
  22. I'll take him over Rick White.
  23. Everyone should use it, come on boys and girls, everyone join in lol
