IMO there's no way the Expos deal there 1 and 2 starters if they dont get at least 1 top prospects (Malone or Rauch would do). Stewart and West would also have to be involved

Garland will be a stud, i'd trade Rauch before i even think about trading Jon.

The difference is at age 22 Vazquez was 5-15 with a 6.06 ERA, while Garland was 12-12 with a 4.58 ERA. He might be better now, but not for long. If the Sox's want Vazquez, they should offer Stewart or West, with Willie Harris + crappy prospect.

This has been made pretty clear, the owner committee operating the Expos come out and said cut 10 mil, Minaya waited to the last second and now he's gonna get screwed.

They why even get one, even with Colon they still dont have much chance at a WS. If your willing to spend on Colon, then take a gamble and you might make a s*** load of money off the WS. To win big you need to take more chances, JR and KW need more balls.

If the Sox's do get Colon, they should get another starter. If your really tring to get something done(a WS) why half-ass it?
