  1. How does this A,B,C work, I mean what's the formula, not that I complaining, but how does a Roberto Alomar rate higer than Hank Blalock? It's like the BCS!!
  2. Hey is there any rule against mid season pickups, because by looking at that the Sox would also get compensation from Carl Everett? Just curious and if anyone knows could they respond.
  3. yeah, does anybody have ESPN insider that could post the rumors on Soxtalk.com. Even though ESPN rumors are wrong most the times, the rumors are interesting.
  4. I can't seem to find anybody on the Sox stats playing in the winter leagues besides Ross Gload. I look at Baseball America for the stats and only find Gload's. Anybody know what teams or where I can find other players from the Sox or do Sox players just not play in the winter leagues.
  5. I really want from the Free Agency and trade: SP-Andre the Giant, oops I mean Bartolo RP-Dave Weathers (from Koch) RP-Hawkins OF-Cameron OF-Soriano (Maggs) IF-Johnson (Maggs)
  6. If the Sox are still interested with Bartolo for 12 mil, why not Millwood for 10?
  7. Sorry bout that the site is http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb
  8. MLB On this MLB site, go to thew Millwood info, and it says a return to Philly isn't likely and he is eyeing the White Sox and Red Sox. Since, the Red Sox are about to get Schilling and his hefty salary, this means that the White Sox might get Millwood, maybe as a backup if the recent news about Bartolo coming back doesn't happen.
  9. That wasn't an article form the tribune, that was just some Sox fans thoughts on Chicago Sports.com, it was just his ideas of what the Sox should do.
  10. there is no way that Tejada's price will drop below 9 million, if that happen I would be shocked. Anyway, he probably would rather go to A LA or Anaheim.
  11. Back the the future, how did we lose to KC three straight in April??
  12. It's not like he was told not to come, he just wasn't invited (I hope.) Since the only players that are coming to the Soxfest are the younger players like Willie Harris and Aaron Rowand, so all of the top players aren't coming. Anyway, Kelly Wunsch will be an intricate part of the Sox this year. He has proven to all of the upper management that he can come in and get the job done against any lefty in the league. Its not like Kelly asked to come and the Sox said no. At least he better be part of the Sox 2004 plans.
  13. We need someone, who should it be?
  14. Koch does nothing for me, he is a waste in the pen. At least Konerko has been a proven all-star and power hitter for the past three years (not couting 2003) Even though Koch was an all-star, he never had a really good era.
  15. Do you guys remember when they did the anonymous drug testing close to the beginning of the year? Well, just about the whole White Sox team purposely failed by not taking the test, so that there would be the mandatory drug testing. So right there that is about 3% of baseball already from one team. By the way, good move by the sox, so Sosa can't use them anymore. No cork, no steroids, how will he hit 30 homers???
  16. Hey, everyone start adding your favorite baseball sites to this list. espn.com/mlb baseballreference.com
  17. I want you guys opinion for who should fill the outfield void we will have this year.
  18. I just don't think Peter Gammons is any good in the baseball indusdry. All he ever says is that the Yankees and Red Sox are looking at all these trade possibilities. How about heraing stuff about the other teams? Gammons sucks, anyone else agree? He is a Yankee and Red Sox lover. :dips*** Also, the Sox wil trade Magglio for a nice package form the Yankees and hopefully the money we save will go to a good pitcher or two. Gordon, Sullivan, Ponson and maybe go after Hawkins.
