Suzuki deal is fair. Guy is projected to be a star in the MLB. I don't think it has any barring over Conforto.

For the right sp, i disagree. I would do vaugh for gallen every time, but idk contract details on gallen off hand. I think means for vaughn is close.. id have to seriously consider it. Vaughn just doesn’t fit on this team permitting we get a solid rf in free agency

I'm good with that! I hate the idea of trading Vaughn but he is no doubt our best trade piece. We may not have the time to let him develop into his full potential and we certaintly don't have a perfect position for him. Trade him for a stud SP in a fair 1 for 1 swap and then sign our RF and another lefty bopper for DH. Boom

1. Was pissed off at the trade the moment I heard about it 2. Should have been aggressive for them. 3. It's not my job to deep dive 2b, but they could get creative in trades guys like idk Josh Rojas, Ketel Marte, Gavin Lux, Ryan McMahon, etc. etc. Josh harrison is almost guranteed to go the same route Mazarra, Eaton, Jimmy Rollins, and many other of these white sox moves go.

1) Kimbrel was a fucking disaster. Terrible trade at the time. Unbelievably bad outcome made worse by offerring the QO. 2) Rodon decision this offseason was BAD. 3) Trading assets for Bassit/Manea would be BAD. Somehow getting Frankie Montas would be insanely good (likely not realistic). 4) Not signing one of the elite bats would be BAD and is expected. per typical white sox fashion to have a shitshow for an offseason/deadline. FO has a long history now of making bad decisions. We will see what happens in the next 1-2 weeks here.. but im expecting a shit show.

I think all the Rick Hahn talk is meaningless. I let their offseason activities talk for them. IMO they've been very bad/poor during offseasons and trade deadlines. I have not been happy. But let's see what happens this offseason - it doesn't take much here to make it a good one.

Any reason? I'm good with Castellanos - he's a star and fun to watch - but conforto fits the team better (LHB, better defense).

So today should bring some moves. What does a good offseason look like? Sign Tepera Address 2b OR RF with a legit player/star (Conforto/Bryant/Castellanos/Story/Ketel Marte) Address the other somehow Get a SP (Rodon/Bassit/Manea come to mind, but some crusty vet might be 'acceptable') Do whatever with Kimbrel. For me: Tepera, Kris Bryant, Chad Pinder/Tony Kemp, Rodon, Sell kimbrel IDK, as long as the white sox get one of those elite players (conforto/bryant/Castellanos/Story), it's going to be hard to have a bad offseason.
