  1. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 07:03 PM) We managed to trade McDermott, Gibson AND a pick for CAM f***ING PAYNE. Now we have to trade Bulter AND a first round pick for Torn ACL, future bust, and a 7th pick? This is the worst FO in the history of NBA! Don't forget they traded 2 firsts to get McDermott. If they take Markkanen, I will personally disembowel GarPax. Lauri Markkanen is Finnish for Andrea Bargnani.
  2. And the Bulls took a giant s*** while I was typing. WHY THE f*** ARE THEY GIVING UP THE 16TH PICK?!!?!?! That's really f***ing dumb. I'm not a fan of Dunn or LaVine. Dunn is only about 3 years younger than Butler and sucked last year. As for LaVine, I think he looks sexier in highlights than he does on the floor. He can dunk and shoot 3's reasonably well, that's about it. The T-Wolves played better after he got hurt. Speaking of which, that's another huge issue.
  3. NBA Draft hot take that may make me look stupid: Dennis Smith will be better than Lonzo Ball. I think that Ball benefitted quite a bit from the roster and offensive system at UCLA. They had several players that can score/shoot and they pushed the pace, which played to his biggest strengths (passing and transition play). If you put him on a team with more suspect scoring options around him (like the Lakers), there's a pretty good chance his flaws are more apparent. He doesn't get to the rim in the half court very well. He doesn't get to the line and ISO/pick and roll scoring weren't a big part of his game. As someone else mentioned a while ago, he only made 7 shots the entire year that weren't at the rim or from 3. His main move in isolation is a 25-foot step-back. I really think he needs strong scoring options around him to flourish. I'm not saying he's going to suck, but I think his upside isn't as high as others do. IMO, his most likely outcome is something like Ricky Rubio with a 3-point shot (although I also think his jumper might not be as strong as it was at UCLA, he was very streaky in HS). Dennis Smith has shown a more versatile offensive game. He's a great athlete that made plays despite a brutal situation at NC State. Most of his flaws are related to poor decision making and focus, which in theory should be correctable. He does have a lower floor because those things don't always get fixed, and there's a chance he's a good stats/bad team guy. Added note- I typed the Ricky Rubio thing before Jalen pointed it out!
  4. I'm not that big on straight avocado, but guacamole is fantastic.
  5. I try not to rant about the refs that often, but this s*** is absurd.
  6. I wish I could bet money on the Bulls winning game 1 by 10+, losing games 2-4 by 20 or less combined, then getting absolutely blown out in game 5.
  7. Pretty decent list, but I misread the initial article. I doubt I'm going to the bowels of the stadium just for a beer.
  8. I saw "Craft Cave" in the article and got excited. I'm assuming lots of Two-Hearted, Oberon and All-Day IPA.
  9. I'm thinking of starting a go-fund-me to put a hit out on the singer and everyone that wrote/shot/had anything to do with the DirecTV March Madness commercials. Anyone else interested?
  10. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Mar 14, 2017 -> 07:54 PM) SMU is sneaky good based on offensive/defensive efficiency. #11 on Pomeroy, one spot ahead of Duke. This went well.
  11. Wooooo! That might be the dumbest play I've ever seen. The only one I can think of that's close is The Timeout. At least Webber was trapped so it wasn't going anywhere anyways. Whatever, still counts!

  13. Go Cats! Hopefully get a win in the first round. I have no illusions beyond that, Gonzaga will crush them. I wanted to pick St. Mary's going farther, but Arizona is a tough 2nd round draw.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 11, 2017 -> 06:14 AM) Loved seeing the arena full of Maryland fans go home early. No more tourney in D.C. Please. It's at MSG next year, and it's a week early to avoid the Big East tourney.
  15. The one Saturday I have to work in quite some time just had to be the day that NU finally makes the semis.
  16. I was hoping to see a tap list for beers of the midwest. They had some decent stuff last year. Oh well, I'm assuming I'll at least be able to get an Anti-Hero.
  17. It was amazing how much space I made when I uninstalled Destiny. There are a few people on this board who will give me s*** for that.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 10, 2017 -> 04:28 AM) Jusuf Nurkic blowing up since the trade to Portland. #bullsscouting Harris/Nurkic is light years better obviously, but that assumes the Bulls still pick those guys.
  19. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 9, 2017 -> 12:31 PM) I'm still holding out hope that we resign Alshon and sign Bouye. I'm not sure that's the best option for the Bulls. Then again, their options aren't that great in the backcourt.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 08:29 PM) I jumped up and cheered for that one. It reminded me of that last second long ball to Jared Sullinger a few years ago. I'm sure you remember that more fondly than I do.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2017 -> 01:28 PM) Perfect info. I get those HD's for free so it may be ok. Re-read my post, I fixed a bunch of stuff because I used the wrong terminology.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2017 -> 07:26 AM) 1. Can I attach an external hard drive? 2. Why so much install per game? Is that if you dont want to use a disc? Based on the last post, that option is coming. If you're ambitious, you can replace the existing drive. I read some instructions online and it doesn't seem that hard. I would have the added step of copying my existing data (though I may be able to use my PSN to temporarily store stuff in the cloud. Don't totally remember if I can do that). I think a 1 TB HD was around $80 last time I looked, which should be enough to keep me out of trouble. I'm not a game designer, but I think they store some stuff on the hard drive so the game runs better and faster. There are also semi-regular updates to fix bugs and add features (assuming it's online, which is borderline mandatory). You still need the disc regardless. Several edits because I'm not tech savvy.
  23. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Feb 27, 2017 -> 09:22 PM) Uninstall some. How many games can you need installed at the same time? I already got rid of 2. It comes up every now and then when I need to download an update.
