  1. I know. If he called it incomplete, but at least gave a good reason, it may have been a crappy cal, but at least it would have made sense. But, with that reason, he basically said it WAS a touchdown.
  2. RIP Reggie. Far too young. Also, I bet Tommie Harris is heart broken, White was a mentor to him.
  3. Interesting. CoD's subtitle is Finest Hour as well. Oh, and I suggest Call of Duty. I'm also playing Killzone for PS2, that's pretty good.
  4. Perhaps. Now that we have a full rotation, I'd feel more comfortable trading Garland for a pitcher, as our rotation would not only be upgraded, but it would still be complete. However, I wouldn't want to do it at the price of definitely Sweeney, and probably Anderson and BMAC.
  5. I know I got this started late, but I was having computer troubles earlier. So, this will be the Ryan Sweeney information center! And without further adieu.... Ryan Sweeney was ranked the #2 prospect in the entire White Sox organization by Baseball America, behind Brian Anderson. Here's the write-up: http://www.baseballamerica.com/online/feat...s/whitesox.html Yes, the future is bright for Sweeney, the probably RF of the future. If I everything goes as planned, I can see him taking over the job in Chicago in 2007, when he will be 22. Coincidentally, Jermaine Dye's contract is up in 2006. Perfect timing it seems, perfect timing. Sweeney was traded on January 3rd, 2008 along with Gio Gonzalez and Fautino De Los Santos to Oakland for Nick Swisher.
  6. Munoz wasn't exactly large himself though; 5'9", 145 lbs. IIRC.
  7. Yeah, I'm happy we got a 5th starter.
  8. That's rather interesting. Billy Beane with even just an average payroll is scary thought.
  9. I don't think this has been posted yet.... For anyone who didn't see, Manny Ramirez is on the cover.
  10. For me, it's El Duque. We really needed someone as a 5th starter. It will be way better than Diaz/Grilli/Satan. I hope his arm doesn't fall off though.
  11. Foulke was dominating, except in 2002. He had a lot of Blown Saves that year, IIRC.

  14. Might be able to sneak out a win at home? The Illini have the best home winning percentage in the country the last 5 years. They embarrassed the Demon Deacons a few weeks ago there.

    PTBNL

Can't be Ginter. He was traded to the A's.
  16. Oh yeah, wasn't the MSU game AT Duke? Or am I mistaken? Because Duke barely (70-69) pulled that one out.
  17. Can you expand here? What didn't you like about it?
  18. Beat the Illini? Have you watched them at all this year? With the exception of the Missouri game, which, as a rivalry game was expected to be close, Illinois has completely controlled and DOMINATED opponents. Some people may not be giving Duke enough respect, but you are giving them way too much credit. By the way, even though I'm an Illini fan, I doubt they'll go undefeated. I can definitely see a loss to MSU, Indiana, Wisconsin, or Iowa. I believe they are very good, but the big 10 is a tough schedule. Also, the thing with UNC...I do agree that it's a bit odd they are ranked higher even though they lost one game, but on the other hand, that was their first game, and they've just rolled since then, so I'm kind split there.
  19. Thanks for the link, Tony. This made me sad: Why can't they add an Expansion mode? ASB has had it for years. It's an awesome mode to have. I had a blast doing it a few years ago in ASB. I gave Brooklyn a team again (the Brooklyn Fury), and made a big splash by signing Mike Mussina. I just had a blast with it. Oh well, he did say "this year", so maybe the 2006 edition will have it. All in all, it still sounds pretty good.

    Dear Santa,

All they need to add is a grill, a minifridge, a computer, and a Broadband connection, and I'll live there!
  21. Yeah, Eck, plus an upgrade somewhere, or money for the deadline.
  22. I know, but I thought I'd put them on there anyway.
  23. Sweet. I figured there would be some general sign up for other ones too, but whatever.
  24. Same with me. I'd really like to be in it, if there's an opening.
