The Mets financially are so set they can give the QO and Conforto can take as long as he wants to say yes or no. Even if they dont want him, they can do this and collect their draft pick. But the Sox have to set their budget and know their budget. We cant just get players and then see if Rodon does or doesnt add 18M onto our payroll. We just arent one of those teams.
I thought players only had 10 days to accept a QO.
