  1. Did anyone watch the Roma-Madrid match? The two commentators for that game might be the most boring pair I have ever had the displeasure of listening to
  2. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Feb 19, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) f***in' Stephen Gerrard! "What a hit, son -- what a hit!" That goal was just ridiculous! How quickly it went from Liverpool squandering a golden oppurtunity of 60 minutes of man up futbol to being in the drivers seat for the return leg. Plus Materazzi will miss the return leg as a result of the rojo. And Cordobas injury looked like it could be serious, but theres still three weeks.
  3. The best player in soccer is always hard to measure. However Cesc has played unreal and has shown amazing talent ever since being called up. With the shift in philosophy after the departure of Henry he has really had his chance to shine. However, being partial to my Liverpool boys Gerrard is still the most talented pure midfielder playing in England
  4. I only have 11 more days of college!!! Just typing that scares me. I DON'T WANT TO GRADUATE!!!
  5. QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 26, 2007 -> 06:05 PM) oh man, me and my roomate went through a bottle of that one night, a full bottle. We were miserable and we sat on our balcony until like 7am. Oops Me and my buddy went through a full bottle Wednesday night before going out for the worst bar night of the year but we had ourselves an amazing time. Mixed: Jameson and Ginger Ale is amazing by the way. Beer: Guiness, only in Europe though (preferably Ireland). Murhpys in a can in the states. New Glarus Spotted Cow. Wine: Eye of the beholder
  6. No Die Hard? What's the deal. It also has the best Christmas song of all time in it, "Christmas in Hollis"
  7. White - Miguel Olivo, oh I loved Miguel Olivo, I got his jersey and three days later he got traded Black - Magglio Ordonez
  8. I was at the Wisco - Pitt game today!! It was awesome!! Alando is making his case for player of the year early, 28 against #20 Marquette and 32 against #2 Pitt. Early Statements. Badgers should be #3 or #4 after this win. Big Ten is tough with OSU and UW at the top of it with MSU and PU and Mich pulling up behind.
  9. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 10, 2006 -> 07:19 PM) With him being a rookie, I imagine he'll only be allowed to throw 85-90 pitches. Hes at 29 already. Hope B-Mac is game tonight. Its different for a knuckleballer, pitch count is not the same at all
  10. I listened to almost their whole show today driving back to school, I really liked it. Plus I think that they will be able to get really good guests on it.
  11. Usually I couldn't give a s*** about ESPN and national media but the 1 have two f***ing finals tonight and get back hoping to see Sox highlights on Baseball Tonight and sit through the damn hour show with Steve "I prove to the world why I got fired as GM everyday I'm on the air" Phillips and Harold "I'm a career .258 hitter" Reynolds. Not only were we not in the first half hour WE WEREN'T EVEN ON THE DAMN SHOW!!! It wasn't the damn 20 minute show where its rush to even show half the games, this was the 1 hour Sunday recap. HOW THE HELL DO THEY NOT SHOW THE BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL! If not even for 30 seconds. I just don't understand how they can do that

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 7, 2006 -> 07:20 PM) I took the SATs yesterday, don't really know what to think. With some luck, I might have broken 2000, but I won't know til the 31st. 2000? Sarcasm? Is there something I'm missing here?
  13. I was just tooling around on MILB.com and saw that Agustin Montero in 21 IP in 11 appearances has only given up 9 hits with 20 Ks and 1 ER. I also saw that he is 28. I was just wondering if he simply has AAA stuff and is organizational depth or if there is any possibility of him making it to the show. I've never heard of him and saw those numbers and was wondering if anyone had a scouting report on him. Also saw that Javier Lopez is tearing it up in Charlotte (14 IP, 1.00 WHIP, 14/2 K/BB, .84 ERA)
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 6, 2006 -> 11:14 PM) They seem to want a knuckleballer in the pen for whatever reason. Heager would be an absolute disaster as a middle reliever, AJ and Widge would go f***ing bonkers. I assume Chris Stewart is catching him down at Charlotte? He's set to take Widger's job next year too right?
