Is BMac going to Charlotte or Birmingham for the beginning of the season? What would be the advantage of putting him in AA vs. AAA? Just wondering and trying to plan on when the Knights will be in town to watch the young guns.

A few months ago someone had made a pretty good suggestion for PK. The Sox should give him a decent offer now to see where he stands with the organization. If it's a "reasonable" offer & he declines its, maybe we can make a move before July 31st to pull some add'l talent our way. If he's not looking to stay on the South Side and wants a cash grab, let him go. KW & Ozzie seem content with Gload anyway. However if he signs, that's good for the Sox. I don't believe we need blazing speed on 1B & Konerko can put up numbers (...well at least last year he did).

Not his wheels, but his stick. Production on offense. I'm a little skeptical on how the Sox will produce enough runs without Mags, Lee, or Konerko.

I think it would be a huge mistake to trade Pauly. The Sox needed to keep either Konerko or Lee. I realize that pitching is a concern, but look at the A's of the past few years. Pitching along cannot get it done. A good mixture is needed & this is what Konerko brings to the table. Besides, Ozzie ball doesn't need speed from 1B.
