  1. If they thought he'd embarrassed himself too many times, he would have been gone long ago or if it was going to happen, the second he walked in the door this morning. He's still here which means the McCaskey's have the same thought process, that this is a learning experience and they will grow from it. There is no common sense in the front office, why would we expect any difference now? This discussion happens every single week amongst us, here we are four years later and still saying that Nagy isn't going to be around much longer, he didn't do himself any favors, etc. FOUR YEARS!!! Justin Fields was the top rated QB yesterday this week. Pace will tell his bosses that his guy Nagy is finally starting to show that he can mold a quarterback and things are looking up, if Pace says otherwise, it looks bad on him. I'll also add that is is completely criminal that the Bears didn't make any moves to add draft capital. Absolutely unforgivable and just more proof that we likely see no change in direction soon until they decide to sell. I will completely redact everything I say if they pull the trigger and can him today but I'll believe it when I see it.
  2. I 100% agree with what you said after the first sentence, but he has had multiple glaring moments for four years now and nothing has changed. They said Nagy and Pace are here to grow together. I firmly believe the McCaskey’s think this was Fields coming out party and that Nagy is the reason for it finally coming together, even in a loss. As fans, we constantly harp on how stupid and lazy they are, why would that change here? Fields threw for twice as many yards as his average per game against a very good defense on national TV. Without a doubt, they consider this a “good loss” and he bought himself time. They will continue to be stupid, until they prove they are not.
  3. He was throwing up bricks early but He looked much better in the fourth after he hit that big 3, sometimes that’s what you need to get going. Nothing but swish after that. They will have their ups and downs early in season because they are new and have a few holes but at end of day, this team is really f’n good I’m ecstatic at the turnaround in one year from management.
  4. Do people actually believe that Nagy is closer to being fired after this game? I firmly believe that the McCaskeys believe it is awesome that Nagy lead this young QB to a late lead and near win on a Monday night at Heinz Field in front of the world. I think he bought himself some time.
  5. Nope, Saitama went nearly 1500% on its second day and even more since then. He took profits from that and another one he hit on and compounded into Mononoke. He got lucky and played it nearly flawlessly.
  6. Mononoke Inu and Saitama Inu. Saitama has run quite a bit so less upside. Mononoke has run but not to the level of Saitama...yet. They both have use cases and are real. The one I just recently got in and could be promising is Diginu. Many people from Saitama and Mononoke have brought their profits over to it. Hasn't run yet. It's a 2D metaverse style game comparable to Zelda and Pokemon, it's a risk because it is so early but they are doing the right things so far. https://diginu.io/ I figure, I gamble on sports and win 50% of the time I think I'd rather take the risk and use that money on a crypto that may work out for potential life changing money while it's a bull market. I think many people underestimate how much money is going into crypto and blockchain, people around the world are in it and will only become more adopted as time goes on.
  7. Yes, it is definitely a risk. In meme coins, it is important to find plays that have liquidity locked (amongst many other things) so it can't be rug pulled and actual uses. Selling during run ups is a must, IMO. I'll check them out, thanks!
  8. I am in the process of rolling over my 401k from past employer. Does anyone have a suggestion on if they would move that into an IRA (would need to be traditional) or into my current employers 401K? My current employers 401k is 10x the amount of the old so I'd increase the account 10%. The thing is, I love being able to choose my own investments in the IRA with some high growth stocks/ETF's but assume that I'd be missing out on some "safer" compound gains if adding it to my current/larger 401k account. Any feedback? Understand this is not advice but finding some solid feedback online has been a little more difficult than I expected.
  9. Love it, I will be checking this play out because I agree, this sector will explode in the next 5-10
  10. Meme coin season is here, too. Many can laugh all they want and obviously there is risk but if you find the fight coin, you can 100-1000x your money pretty quickly. I have a friend that just turned $4k into $530k in a few weeks.
  11. It’s easier said than done going from being the top option to being the 3rd in under one year. It is frustrating but trust they’ll find a way to make it better. He’s too good of a player to shoot mid 30%’s
  12. They need to see what White can bring in his new role first. Imagine if he becomes the next Jamal Crawford for this team, his numbers and percentages are comparable in their time in Chicago. Coby was born in the year 2000, he’s still got some developing to do but he needs to make a jump this year.
  13. I'd be surprised if they would lie about fake vax cards with the legal issues. All this says is that the vaccine isn't going to completely stop you from getting Covid. 5-6 guys over a few week span with hundreds of people in the building and in close contact isn't that much of an outbreak.
  14. Why exactly would this mean half the NFL is using Vax cards?
  15. He still showed a negative dWar this year in his time. I never thought anybody would be so angry about a guy on pace for 6 homers and 60 rbi's. Hahn needs to go out and find a proper replacement since Hernandez did not work out, that's it.
  16. Similar has been said directly from the mouth of a Brewers scout that I know. I remember outside of his 2 strike prowess, nothing but complaints about Madrigal about his defense, his range, his base running, his lack of power, etc. up and down this board. The trade didn't work out, it would be nice to move on. Kimbrel is one reason the Sox didn't win this series but it isn't the main reason. Nick Madrigal is on the Cubs now. Some on here post about him like He is Fernando Tatis. Move on.
  17. We lost to what is possibly the deepest lineup in MLB history. The losses really sucked and they were outplayed up and down, but this is like any team in the 90s going up against the Bulls buzzsaw. Except it is much more difficult to win in the MLB. Just add pieces and improve any way possible for next year, anybody who thinks we messed up this rebuild is delusional. Every team makes some bad deals, even the best ones, but we have some real weapons that are elite talents and can beat anybody when they are on.
  18. I understand the numbers are the numbers, but when you look at the details, they were 3-10 against the Yankees and Astros. This sentiment that they suck against playoff teams is flawed because they actually sucked against two teams and held their own against all others. But I get it They need to get better depth, 7-9 (experienced) hitters, add 1-2 SP, and pray the playoff experience this year hopefully helps them break through to the ALCS at least, next year. Having Houston lose Correa, Gurriel, Graveman and possibly others could only help.
  19. Exactly, who cares if WSD says stuff to John Cusack or not? Lots of people feel that way. They've been bantering on twitter about it before, this isn't new news, it's just on video now. Who cares is right.
  20. IMO, I do not think Dave got shut down that bad. This is the second time Cusack has brought up Mike Squires, once in a tweet a few years ago and then the other night, it seems like one of the few guys he knows (to his credit, WSD did not know his position) and it was before WSD was even born. Cusack was an all time actor 20 years ago and couldn't stop tweeting about a Chicago sports blogger, John knows he is getting wrecked and busted for his team hopping. Does Cusack know who was on the team 5 years ago? It even sounded like Cusack asked him at first if he knew who "Lamar Odom" was before saying Hoyt the second time. Doubtful he knows anybody during the shit years.
  21. WSD went up to him but Cusack is the one that got in his face.
  22. Exactly. Fill the holes and let’s try this again. Lots of bad today but when was the last time the Sox made the playoffs two years in a row? Hahn made a bad deal? Ok so do all GM’s. They have a ton of talent, let’s hope this is like the 80s and 90s Bulls that took time to break through.
  23. Yet here they are tied in 7th inning versus a World Series favorite.
  24. sick play by tepera. just throw damn strikes and we will live with the result, walks are killing them.
  25. as nerve-wrecking as this is to watch. if before the game we knew it was going to be tied in the 5th we'd be ecstatic. so close to breaking one open LFGGG
