  1. Any good ideas on how or where to stream? U-verse giving me problems on app no mlb option.
  2. Today really sucked. For some reason, I can deal with all of my favorite teams losing in the postseason except the Sox just wreck me mentally when they lose. I think last years debacle against Oakland ruined me for good, that game 3 was the worst sports game I've ever watched and I can't stomach tough losses from them any longer. With that being said and attempting to be optimistic, McCullers needed to pitch absolutely lights out, with the Sox making the weakest contact We've seen from them in two years while Lynn was absolutely brutal with no command to win 6-1. The Sox got outplayed up and down but this was not a blowout by any means and they were threatening at one point with Yaz up and two on in the 8th. One big hit there and that could have changed the momentum majorly. This was a "welcome to the playoffs" win by the Astros but their bullpen is hittable. McCullers won't pitch every game. Gio has had success against them. I'd argue that if we were to take one in Houston, a game 2 win would be much better than a game 1 win to give us momentum going back home where we know it'll be raucous. Let's get this one tomorrow. 7-4 Sox win.
  3. I don’t think there is any question it’ll be fun to watch, they just need to win games.
  4. Preseason/Cavs or not, No Bulls team the last 4 years would put up this many points in a game. 36 assists which is more than any game last year. This is a different team.
  5. CBS Sports online is pretty bad in my opinion for all things sports and fantasy.
  6. So I assume the wash can be broken since Gio has a 2.66 ERA in the second half? By far the best of the four. I'm just kidding, this doesn't really mean anything IMO. Not sure why I noticed this but so many L's between these starters not even including Carlos, Dylan and Valdez. I didn't realize L was so popular in names. Lance McCullers Lucas Giolito Lance Lynn Luis Garcia
  7. Honestly, the way the Sox came out in the Field of Dreams game and against the most popular team in all of sports, knowing the entire world was watching, has me fairly optimistic about this series. Don't get me wrong, I'm still nervous but what are the chances the Astros make it to 5 straight ALCS'? Eventually that has to change. Just pitch solid and I think we can get to theirs, McCullers got beat up last postseason, We hit Valdez hard last time out, Garcia minimal playoff experience. We already know what our guys are capable of and now they are pretty much fully healthy. Sheets, Vaughn dangerous bats potentially off the bench. We have a lot to look forward to. LFG. Anything can happen, just play solid ball! I trust TLR will have them ready.
  8. At first, I thought the same but after thinking about it, I think there is a chance this was done on purpose. Nagy is a nice guy but he's also an egomaniac and we've seen it with our own eyes. Years of subpar results and he is still leading play calling, continuously forces his "sit in the pocket" offense onto Mitch and now Fields, when they clearly are not that type of QB, he literally NEVER changes his game plans with AND without QB's that fit his style he's pushing. These are traits that only an egomaniac would have. He's been getting hammered about not starting Fields, saying he isn't ready. What what better way to show your idiot bosses that he isn't ready and buy himself more time than to have him out there as a sitting duck?
  9. I feel like not enough people talk about or question Matt on the fact that he HAD to have Dalton and Foles to fit his offense, yet treated/treats Mitch and Fields like they are Nick/Andy, pocket QB's.
  10. Nagy just said all 3 QB's are under consideration for next week to start.
  11. Personally, I felt Fields should not see any game action yet from the beginning. They also felt he was not ready by naming Dalton the starter. If they didn’t feel he was ready for starting, they should have stayed consistent in that, not throwing him out there against a great defense in their house. He’s going to play shitty until Dalton returns and Fields goes back to the bench and nobody will know if it’s because he’s not ready or because he’s just not good. His confidence will be sapped.
  12. Ran into a Brewers scout at a party 2 weeks ago, the consensus among the Brewers and many MLB scouts is that Madrigal doesn’t progress into a good major leaguer. Feels the Sox got a steal with the trade. That being said, definitely need more from Craig but we had to be aggressive and get somebody.
  13. Doesn’t Tim mostly play on dirt and not turf?
  14. Yeah I’m actually black so I’d argue that comment is out of line… I forgot for a second we live in a world where we can throw out that word loosely. It was a joke (hence the LOL) and nothing about it is racist. He assaulted an officer, just commenting on the irony of his actions. He kneels or sits to stand for something and then does the same shit.
  15. There's definitely some "meh" plays with him looking timid with the ball or mishandling but between the first two game highlights but there's several impressive ones in my opinion getting open or making things happen both with and without the ball and around the rim. I think he has shown his quickness quite a few times but there are some where he looks like he's moving in slow motion and not being aggressive when he's got the ball at the top of the key. My assumption is that he's not completely comfortable being the #1 facilitator (and maybe not in his grown body yet) and that's what they have him working on in summer league. During the year, probably won't see him as #1 that often with all the playmakers they have now. With how explosive he is around the glass and off the ball, as well as him showing a good jab step and passing on post ups, he doesn't really need to be blowing by guys all the time (yet). If he gets that part of his game going, watch out. Most players have weaknesses early on in their career (Kawhi didn't have that great of handles early on either) and it's way too early to have a big red flag on him IMO.
  16. I doubt they care much about the "n word" being used as they do them supposedly being pushed and injuring the officer. If he did, he definitely should be disciplined and forced to stand during the anthem (LOL)
  17. This has been a really fun couple of days to be a Bulls fan. The Bulls are terrible at being terrible and it has gotten them nowhere in recent years, nothing is guaranteed in the NBA these days. I really like both signings but I'm more excited for Lonzo than DD. He's 23 and this will be his 5th year. Last year, he played off the ball more with Zion being the main playmaker so his assists dropped but his 3P efficiency has gotten much better over the last 2 years. He doesn't get to the line but he has shown improvement there as well.... This guy does nearly everything good except scoring and he's clealry putting in the time to get better, can't ask for much more. If he keeps progressing there AND has the ball back in his hands at his natural position, he is a dark horse for an ASG at some point in the next few years with so many scorers around him IMO. Pretty solid chance we can get close to Ben Simmons type numbers from him. And most importantly, they have assets which is great to have when it's working (to attract a star or acquire one by trade) and when it's not (to gain picks or other good players that may work better).
  18. Lonzo's efficiency as a scorer increased last year which was great. He played more off the ball with Zion touching it so much, will be awesome to see if he can increase his assists back to how they were earlier in his career while also showing his scoring ability. He really does want to get better and does it quietly. I'm pretty excited to see what they can do even though a title is still a pipe dream.
  19. Windhorst reporting Bulls wanting to pull off double sign and trade for Ball and Derozan
  20. Good riddance, couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. He will be remembered by getting blown out by I forget who, making a catch and then throwing up the M (for Memphis) at the defender as if he was having the game of his life. Very frustrating player.
  21. https://www.espn.com/mlb/standings/grid I use this but I’m sure there is better.
  22. It is a little disheartening to me their overall record vs winning teams but that’s not to see they have not beaten good teams. Got whooped vs Astros and Yanks but beat TB, Toronto and then Houston the second time in a 3 game set and tied Boston. The season ebbs and flows but I agree, at least one good bat would be huge for when our other bats return.
  23. Some people here take themselves way too seriously. We're talking about baseball to kill time; sit back, relax, and strap it down. This was taken from your About Me. This is text book on why the crazies can't stop talking about being woke and cancel culture. Preach one thing, then do the opposite. Message Board gold.
