    LOST!!!!

    QUOTE (daa84 @ Mar 28, 2009 -> 06:23 AM) after watching a couple older episodes yesterday i'm a bit disappointed because there are just too many unanswered questions for them all to be answered IMO. i know some bigger questions will be answered (ie who is jacob, what exactly is the smoke monster, etc) but there are so many unanswered questions. maybe its the shows way of misdirection, or to keep people watching, but for instance...will we ever find out what the deal was with libby in the mental hospital? maybe we actually will, maybe we won't, maybe it wasn't important. i am just beginning to get sick of new questions every week when so many are still out there. one question i have that relates to the story currently....what happened to Farraday? last we saw him, he was walking through the sonic fence with sawyer miles and juliet. the other three all woke up and became part of dharma thanks to sawyers lafleur con, but conveniently faraday is left out edit: when jack gets to the island he asks sawyer if faraday is there and sawyer responds "not anymore"...im sure there will be more to come regarding that We saw Farraday in the first scene of this season working on building the Dharma station (the swan I think?). I'm assuming he worked for Dharma for a while and then either went crazy or is dead.

    LOST!!!!

    All four seasons have been re-running on SciFi for the last few months. This monday will be the final few episodes of season 4.
  3. The Yankees have raised their offer to 5-yr $91m, an equal contract to Carlos Zambrano.
  4. This sounds like a great move for NBC and a terrible one for Conan. Business is a business I guess.
  5. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 12, 2008 -> 11:06 PM) No? Who is it then? http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=389063875
  6. QUOTE (SnB @ Nov 12, 2008 -> 07:02 PM) the internet is awesome Hilarious, but it's not his girlfriend.
  7. Anyone know where I can find a pic of Obama with the skyline in the background from last night?
  8. We're exepcting rain all day tomorrow here in North Carolina. Should be interesting how this effects the turnout. 40% of registered voters have already cast ballots and it is assumed Obama is leading significantly from these early votes.
  9. I'm going to say that Obama will win North Carolina. Of course I live in an extremely liberal part of the state, but the enthusiasm here for Obama is unreal. The Obama office is always buzzing with an overwhelming amount of volunteers, especially tonight. Over 2.5 million NC voters have already cast their ballot (about 73% of the 2004 total vote), which I would imagine is a good sign for Obama. Black voters are voting above their share of the population. Blacks make up 21% of our population, but 26% of the votes so far have been from blacks. Don't count us out. My preidctions are... McCain: Missouri, Indiana, North Dakota, Montana, Florida Obama: Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Colorado, Nevada
  10. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 31, 2008 -> 11:20 AM) Barack Obama's Running mate: "Joe the Biden" or is it "Joe O'Biden"? He's been calling him Joe the Biden in his stump speech for a while now.
  11. Two years ago I was registered in the 10th. I voted for Seals and thought if he couldn't win in 2006 he would never win. But Seals is looking to ride the coattails of Obama this year and I think he could pull it off. Kirk is a pretty moderate Republican. Socially he's liberal but economically and militarily he's aligning himself more and more with Bush. Seals is pushing that in his (very very negative) campaign ads.
  12. One vote for Obama in the swing state of North Carolina.
  13. Just voted for Barack here in NC. I can't be sure if we can turn this state blue or not, but I can say that students here at UNC (a very liberal campus) will be turning out in huge numbers this year.
  14. So I'm a huge Obama supporter and registered to vote in Illinois. I'm away at school in North Carolina and just realized my vote would probably mean more if I register in North Carolina, it seems there is an off chance we could go blue this year whereas Illinois will most definitely go blue. What do you guys think? If I want to do this, how do I go about canceling my Illinois registration?
