  1. Let's do it right here boys...I'm so f***in stoked since that JD homer END IT RIGHT NOW BABY!!!
  2. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:03 PM) I think we have to win this game now. A win would be so huge, but a loss would be devastating, IMO. I agree with you man....we need this ballgame
  3. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:04 PM) A bit off topic, but am I the only one who has a problem with Closers winning a Cy Young award? Nope, I'm not a big fan of it either
  4. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) I think Boston's defense is just as good as ours overall. And it looks like we'll get to see this year's Cy Young award winner. Boston's D is better than ours...they have been outstanding this season
  5. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 03:37 PM) The fat red cubs fan and his equally tubby wife are annoying behind home plate. LOL the lightweight has been long gone since the 2nd inning and dont get me started and the clueless wife....
  6. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 01:49 PM) If this ump wants to have some fun, he should get s***faced, then review the video of his strikezone. First inning no low pitches are strikes. Then after Bloody Sock throws some low pitches, then it starts to get called. LMAO get s***faced...I dont know why but that just made me crack up, but yes this is getting ridiculous Geez what an AB by Loretta
  7. I had a feeling we might struggle at the dish....asshole Schilling trying to show Ozzie firsthand he deserved to be an All-Star....we've got our work cut out for us boys
  8. QUOTE(Maverick0984 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) to be fair, i don\'t know of any pitcher/catcher combo that throws out MORE than are given up. it\'s just a difficult percentage to deal with. slow people aren\'t going to run all that often so they are already in the hole there. the main problem is with our pitchers. AJ has a great arm, and actually very recently (the last week) i\'ve seen him throw out 3, 2 in 1 game. I definately agree I'm not putting the fault solely on AJ, our pitchers don't give the guy much of a chance to throw out base runners I'm just sick and tired of allowing opposing base runners prance on into second in scoring position as often as it seems..
  9. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) Yesterday Mirabelli stole off of Freddy and his required long stride to achieve 86mph. It's pathetic and irritating watching our pitchers give runners second as often as they do....
  10. Bloody hell I dont know the percentages of how often we throw base runners but s*** if I scout this White Sox ballclub anybody with decent legs outta be swiping second all day....s*** IT DOESNT SEEM LIKE WE THROW OUT ANYBODY!!
  11. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 03:35 PM) ^^^^^^^^^^^ thome, dye pk, u guys watching??? haha we rip em and yet thome hit a gs the other day and weve scored 5 runs Yeah are you guys watching it's not like all 3 of you arent representing our White Sox in the All Star game
  12. Christ guys it's f***in baseball, sometimes s*** goes your way sometimes it doesn't...and yes our 3 4 5 hitters just douched us over but my god they're only human just relax and appreciate the monster numbers they have put up for us thus far, hell if not for JD that bases loaded nobody out bottom of the 7th would've been damn near meaningless...the starting pitching let us down once again along with the bullpen, it just isn't our day damnit
  13. Highly doubtful they're there scouting a Cleveland Indian, inner division trades dont occur likely in the thick of a playoff race and why help a division opponent? I'm sure these Sox scouts were there scouting a Yankee but as to who the player is I have no clue...
  14. This is why i love a guy like Kenny...similiar to my high school baseball story earlier this year where I was rushed into the Varsity lineup and expected to seek expectations and when the going wasnt good, coach called me into his office and told me to keep my head held high and stick it out because I was still going to be our everyday RF and I soon turned that Mendoza like average to an over .300 BA and earned All District Honors...good things happen when your boss shows confidence in you and it doesn't hurt matters that BA has a GREAT attitude and outlook on all of this, expect much better things from Brian
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 24, 2006 -> 12:13 AM) Because anyone who does it is not a fan. How's that? If you do the wave in a close game or hell, ever, you should be banned from the god damn ballpark. FROM EXACTY ONE MONTH AGO TODAY: Ill back you here Kalapse the wave in a tight ballgame is ABSOLUTELY IRRITATING...I just hate the damn thing regardless
  16. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 11:33 AM) Please, don't make stupid unnecessary comments. Ive never seen a die hard fan equally root 2 teams...guess your the first eh?
  17. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 02:08 AM) The face of a classy organization doesn't do what Ozzie's been guilty of on numerous occassions. So what the hell is Kenny Williams talking about, are his goals to make the White Sox a classy organization or is this attendance boost simply due to being a winning team? Why do you pretend you're a White Sox fan? your gigs getting old buddy.....not too mention how many "true fans" have 2 favorite teams anyways?? And about Ozzie's job being secure he just led us to our first World Series victory in 88 years and has this ballclub rolling again this year, Ozzie is goin NOWHERE nor should he
  18. Wow this is horses***, man up and admit you lost...point is Mulder and Marquis got absolutely shelled now move on and admit your pitchers didnt have it... ugh I HATE excuse makers
  19. QUOTE(CardsJimEdmonds15 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 11:20 AM) So it was intentional? Here I was thinking Ponson sucked ass (hence the reason he was moved to the pen) and wouldnt hit anybody with the bases loaded.. if he did hit em intentionally he sucks even worse ass than I thought.. I believe BA getting plunked was intentional simply out of frustration though I believe the Ozuna pegging was just a case where the pitch got away from Ponson, with that being said Cards15 we appreciate you here providing alot of insight and not being like other jackasses that roam around here from other teams...at least from my standpoint it's been a pleasure with you posting here
  20. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 11:20 PM) First of all, I gotta thank That Funky Motion for his tickets. This game was f***ing amazing. THANK YOU! Second, the game. The offensive onslaught was awesome/hilarious. Everyone contributed. It's hard to even talk about one thing, it was just that great. Ponson is a fat piece of s***, and I'm glad Riske solidified his spot on this team by hitting Duncan. Another note, is Duncan related to their pitching coach? If so, that makes it even sweeter. We finally did some retaliating, and an extra little "f*** you" could have been that it was one of their coaches relatives. Also, Montero = bucket of s***. Yes they're related father son I believe and the other Duncan is in a Yankee uniform too i think? Either way I'm glad Riske manned up and did his job tonight...way to solidify your role on this team kid
  21. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 12:34 AM) They are a pretty good team, but I know everyone in their right minds know they are a completely different team when Pujols is in the line-up. That man is a beast. Completely changes a team's strategy or a game.. period. No doubt I totally agree but I was just trying to explain this St Louis team even wihtout Pujols is still no pushover QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 12:26 AM) Take a look at the current Cardinals everday lineup, the pitching matchups, the way we are playing, and the scene of the games.....and if you come to any conclusion other than we should win at least 2 of 3, I'd be shocked. The Cards are good and we better be ready to play, but I was more worried about playing in Cincy than I am about facing the current Cardinals club at our place. We'll see, this series should be a good one thats for damn sure...either way a possible October preview?? Let's hope
  22. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) No Pujols and no Carpenter=No problem. Be careful with Rolen and with the way we're playing, it's at least 2 of 3. At least 2 out of 3?? Wow....little overconfident here are we chief? This Cardinal team is a very good ballclub with or without Albert, this series will be no pushover at all and I'd be thrilled with taking 2-3 from the Cards..IMO a sweep is very unlikely but then again your entitled to your own opinion
  23. This is horses*** and bushleague of a thing to do on Ozzies part..You don't throw a young guy in there asking him to plunk a batter because your starting pitcher cant grow enough f***in balls to retaliate then b**** at your young reliever for TRYING to do his job...I'm not some pussy or anything but man I REALLY felt for Sean today seeing him over there in the dugout in near tears really made me feel for the guy
  24. I was in attendance tonight in Ameriquest and my what a time it was...arrived when the gates opened at at about 5:00 caught a couple BP balls, scored a few autographs and got to see a White Sox winner, not too shabby of a time other than the asshole Tigers fan who shows up in his Detoiet s*** trying to harrass my mom because she was reppin sox gear(too bad I hadn't gone up there with her to the concession while the asshole was talkin noise I wouldve loved to put that dickhead in his place) but besides that helluva win for our sox!!!
