  1. Is Cam Newton going to be a back up for someone next year?
  2. Wait, the Bears had to give up a 4th round pick to get him?
  3. I want the Bears to sign Winston and he throws 20 touchdowns and 47 int.
  4. Really glad that Stefon Diggs is out of the NFC North and the NFC in general.
  5. Jimmy Graham has been awful the past couple years. He makes a nice catch here and there, but his legs are done.
  6. It shouldn't, but for some reason is always does.
  7. They are talking about 20 plus million per year for Bridgewater. Good lord.
  8. Nick Kwiatkoski posted a photo of the Raiders new stadium on Twitter, I would assume that means he signed with the Raiders or maybe he is a big time fan of stadiums.
  9. Possibly, but I don't think either of these players have a lot of options at this point. Both have maybe one last chance at being a starter.
  10. I still think Marcus Mariota would be the best bet for the Bears. He needs to stay healthy, but he is still only 26.
  11. Now they have a QB who can at least run. Brady was never that mobile, but he is a statue now. Bears could upgrade at RG, not sure what they are going to do at OT, both are below average. I would say they could sign some free agents, but not if they have to pay Brady 30 million.
  12. If I'm Tom Brady, I take one look at that Bears OL and lack of talent on offense and do a hard pass.
  13. I still call them the San Diego Chargers, it takes me 5-10 years to adjust to new team city names.
  14. I get some of the comparisons to Alex Smith, but one thing Smith did really well was his ability to run and make some plays with his legs and Carr can't do any of that. I still think Brady ends up back with the Patriots and Carr stays with Las Vegas.
  15. Yeah, he's probably an upgrade over Trubisky, not sure how much. If you could just sign him it would be better, but if you have to trade a pick for him and take on that contract, not to sure about that.
  16. Carr played behind one of the better OL in football, has one of the best TE in football and one of the top RB. Yet he was still pretty average. I wouldn't trade for him, but I guess I would sign him, but he is pretty average.
  17. This what it is for me. It's kind of a dead time in sports until baseball starts. Even with the NHL and NBA, they are kind of in the middle of the season and not quite the playoff push time, so it can kinda be a lull there. It fills that void of football. I think they should change the rules to make the game high scoring. Not crazy, but games should be 42-35, not 16-13. I'm watching that first game, not the second.
  18. Yeah if they can pay higher wages than NFL practice squads and show there is a pipeline from the XFL to the NFL they might get some undrafted players come to the XFL. I just think players are going to go to practice squads. You are with the team and they get to watch you practice every day and lot's of practice players get called up because they know the playbook.
  19. Any player who really stands out is gone after this year. So I think it will be hard to stockpile a lot of really talented players.
  20. I watched the D.C vs Seattle game and it was pretty good. I was curious about some of the different stuff they were doing. I kinda like the kick off, I would want to see more it, but it's interesting. I didn't like the after TD stuff, the different point system. It just seems like too much. I'm not even a big fan of extra point in the NFL. I feel like a TD is doing something good and I feel you shouldn't have to do extra things afterward. I wish all the games were on Sunday to give it a familiar feel. I think you have to pick a team and start rooting for them otherwise the games don't have strong meaning to them. I hated the player and coach interviews on the sidelines. It comes off as gimmick.
  21. Both qb's didn't play great for the first three quarters and then Mahomes played well in the 4th and Jimmy G didn't. Feel like that was the biggest difference in the game. Although I thought the 49ers had a couple of drives that just didn't have any urgency. The one before half time, the one after KC made it a one score game in the 4th and the drive after KC took the lead. Success on one of those three drives wins the game.
  22. I feel like Richard Sherman had a rough night. I know Sammy Watkins burned him a couple times.
  23. He called a play on that last drive that had Sanders five yards open for a big TD to take the lead late in the game and Jimmy G over threw it by 10 yards.
