  1. Good hire for the Cowboys. He's probably not the sexy pick, but I think he is a solid hire.
  2. The Patriots dynasty has been an amazing thing, but I'm so glad I don't have to watch them in the Super Bowl again this year.
  3. I'm sure that's part of it, especially the run game stuff.
  4. I thought Harry Hiestand was doing a pretty good job with that OL, considering they don't have a lot of great players on the OL and got hit with a ton of injuries this year. You never really know whats going on with assistants though.
  5. They have two 2nd round picks and then they don't draft until the 5th round. You could hold off on Jackson, but risk him not showing up or losing him in free agency. They also don't have any other safeties signed for next year. You can cut someone like Gabriel and Long is for sure gone, but you don't have a ton of options for replacing them.
  6. Ted Ginn combined for 19 td and averaged 15 yards per catch in his three years in Carolina. He's not a great player, but there is a reason he has been in the league for 13 years. Cam hasn't had a ton of great passing options, but this idea that he has had nothing is ridiculous. He also has had a great running game behind him his whole career. There is also a huge difference of not having great passing options and a bad OL when you are a 25 Qb with the ability to run then when you are a 31 QB after two years of injuries.
  7. They have two draft picks until the 5th round. That cap space is going to go quick with Newton, probably having to pay Eddie Jackson and keeping some other players. Burton is just average player regardless, I bet they release him to free up money. If you don't think Newton will make crazy money, just look at other QBs in this league and what they make. Not to mention the Bears or any other team might have to trade from him.
  8. Yeah, Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Christian McCaffery, DJ Moore, Ted Ginn were all good passing options. He could have ended up throwing to two for sure Hall of Famers and if McCaffery keeps it up, he will also. Curtis Samuel and DJ Moore are also two really good young WR. As far as the OL goes, probably part of the reason he has dealt with so many injuries and that wasn't when he was turning 31 off a major injury.
  9. Cam Newton is going to be asking for at least 20-25 million per year. That's if the Panthers even let him go. A consistently banged up QB playing behind that awful Bears OL, throwing to J.P Holtz and making 25 million a year. Sounds great.
  10. It's interesting how The Last Jedi was loved by critics and Rise of Skywalker was not. Fan base seems to think the opposite. Definitely seems to be a disconnect somewhere.
  11. The romance stuff and a lot of the dialogue is really bad, but I still think the biggest problem with the prequels is all the really bad CGI. If it was done more to look like the original trilogy at least a little bit, I think they would have aged better. At times those movies almost feel like watching a cartoon.
  12. I loved this movie, one of my favorites of the whole series. Lot's of action and the visuals were great.
  13. Super excited for the new Star Wars. I'm also glad I don't have to wait in line at the movies like we used to.
  14. The Pro Bowl is a joke and no one takes it seriously. I wouldn't get to worried about players who make and not make it.
  15. There could be an 11-5 team not make the playoffs in the NFC this year. NFC is going to be pretty crazy the last three weeks.
  16. Trubisky looks great, Bears better lock him up now. 5 year, 125 million with 75 million guaranteed should get it done.
  17. Yeah, that should be a fun one. I'm not sure why the NFL didn't flex it to Sunday night or at least to the 3:25 game.
  18. What a bum this QB is. Not sure he is NFL ready. Seriously, that 49ers d-line is a problem. Nasty.
  19. Hey, I think I've been pretty chill about the Packers and how they are doing really awesome right now and Aaron Rodgers is just so good.
  20. Firing a coach after he has a half a bad season or even after one bad season is something teams like the Browns and Dolphins do all the time.
  21. That play where Cohen was running down the sidelines and had like three steps on a LB should have been a big play. Trubisky threw it to his back shoulder and out of bounds. He has some of the worst accuracy to sidelines I have ever seen.
  22. The Bears threw the ball almost 50 times last night and had 199 passing yards. Not good.
  23. This isn't the first time this has happened and I don't believe anyone was ever arrested the other times. After Rudolph tried to pull Garrett's helmet off, he was kicking him in the thigh with his spikes and also appears to grab his crotch. Rudolph facing charges as well? What Garrett did was incredibly dangerous, but it's not like Rudolph was just sitting on the bench and Garrett walked over and smashed him in the head. Rudolph started the fight and Garrett took it too far. Garrett should be suspended for the rest of the year, like he was and Rudolph who was just fined for it, should be suspended for a game or two.
