  1. I mean they were both on the ground and he is pulling it with two hands. Was he just trying to steal his helmet?
  2. Rudolph should probably get fined for trying to pull another players helmet off. I would assume he was doing that so he could punch him in the head. Why else would you be doing that? The Garrett suspension is appropriate, but I'm not sure legal action is necessary.
  3. Myles Garrett is probably in some trouble. Doubt he plays anymore this year. I wonder what the story is with Mason Rudolph and Garrett. Rudolph was trying to rip Garrett's helmet off while being sacked.
  4. That's wild. They should have to give us Alex Bregman now. It's only fair.
  5. Then watch the AFC put a 8-8 team in the playoffs.
  6. I think Cunnigham and Romo should be higher on this list. Rivers is a better player than Cutler, but they both have a style of play that was like wow this guy is really good or how is this guy in the league play. Rivers gets the ball yesterday down 2 points, needs only a field goal and it might be the only chance at keeping playoff chances alive. 1:07 on the clock and three timeouts against an ok defense at best. He went 0-6 with an interception, could have been 0-7 if not for a penalty. That's part of the reason he never goes any where in the playoffs.
  7. I think they have a pretty decent shot to make the playoffs this year. They have two first round picks next year and cap space. I still think trading Mack was a bad move, but it's not hurt them as much as I thought.
  8. If you are in a dome or have a really good kicker, then maybe you can just kneel down and kick the field goal. I feel like the Bears had a chance to do something there and with the recent problems it might have been worth it get some yards. Straight up run, designed qb run, play action fake, try and take a shot. Even just a pass play and tell Trubisky if the read isn't there, throw it out of bounds.
  9. There are a ton of articles like this from the off season. Some really great stuff.
  10. Raiders ran all over them. The Saints with a back up QB and back up RB put up 31 points on them, in Chicago. They are still a really good defense, just not sure they are the unstoppable force they were last year. Top defense last year, top 5 defense this year, next year top 10 maybe. It's had to sustain dominant defenses in the modern NFL. Seahawks had one of the better defenses of the past 20 years or so and it was done within 5 years.
  11. The defense is still good, but it's already behind what they did last year and they are probably going to lose some more players next year and don't have the draft picks and cap space to easily replace them. If they had a pro-bowl or elite qb, yeah they would be better, but they don't and those type of qb's aren't just sitting around.
  12. 100%. Pace took a shot and it didn't work out. I think it would be better if they just admitted that and started over.
  13. I feel like the Bears made a lot of moves including trading for Mack on the basis that Trubisky was going to be good. He only isn't good, but really bad. I feel like they are closer to blowing the whole thing up and starting over. I wonder if they would trade Mack, you probably aren't getting two first round picks, but you might get a 1st and a 2nd. This would be the year to get a ton of draft picks and move up in the first round. I just wouldn't trust Pace to do it.
  14. I think the Bears might lose 10 or 11 games this year. I still don't think you fire Nagy after one bad year, that's what the Browns and Washington do. Although I think to help his case he should not get defensive with Chicago reporters. That never goes anywhere good.
  15. That's understandable. His injury looked painful.
  16. Also, I don't know why more teams don't run play action fake on most plays when the qb takes the ball under center. Packers annihilated the Raiders with it yesterday and were averaging 2.6 yards per carry.
  17. I think they have to keep him because of how much they invested in him and I think going out and getting someone like Dalton(trade and 17 million cap hit) or Marriotta(probably 15 million plus) is way too expensive for the Bears. I just don't see the talent with Trubisky. Arm strength isn't really there, His accuracy on sideline throws is awful, he has a hard time throwing downfield. I would say his best asset is his ability to move in the pocket and scramble.
  18. Bears offense wasn't good last year either, but they were somewhat efficient. This year is a complete mess on almost every level outside of Robinson and maybe Cohen.
  19. Maybe, but they just might all be problem spots. Bears are putting up similar offensive number as the Dolphins and Jets(who were on their like 5th string QB). So it might be a little of everything.
  20. I was thinking of the trade they made with New England. That might have been for Miller.
  21. He built that OL, so if the OL is bad it's his fault as well. He paid Whitehair a ton of money. Traded up to get Daniels. I'm not sure Leno should be at LT, Massie is ok for RT, but is making a ton and they have no RG.
  22. He built a good defense, but it seems like he built it for a two or three year run and to get to that it cost a ton of cap space and draft capital to do so. They have several free agents on defense for next year, HaHa and Trevathan. They have to figure out what to do with Floyd, he is due for an increase in salary or you let him go and replace him with who? Still have to pay Eddie Jackson, who will want to be one of the highest paid safeties in football. Probably around 12-14 per year. He has limited draft picks to replace players next year and he may need to trade for or sign a QB, that is going to cost 15 million plus next year. Dalton makes 17 million a year and you have to trade for him. If you keep him, he has his work cut out for himself.
  23. If the Bears are done with Trubisky, you have to fire the GM right? He traded up to the 2nd overall spot and took a bad QB and passed on two superstar qb's. Not to mention some of his other mistakes. The whole RB situation, Anthony Miller looks like a 2nd round bust. Overpaid average players, Burton and Gabriel. The way he has drafted in general has been more bad than good. He trades away a lot of picks to move up.
  24. Imagine throwing this pass with 0 feet on the ground.
