Back to being on pace for a 20-142 record.
They made up enough losses to cover for that random win and get back on track.

well so much for the crochet thing. he's gassed already.
-
That didn't take long.

absolute meat ball hit 88 mph out to RF for a lazy pop fly. Yikes.

I love how vaughn looks it into the mitt as he watches strike after strike go by early in the count. Really professional scrub.
-
Good job by Lee working through that with Crochet. That was good battling.

what a fucking AB, good god.

man making great piches and he's fouling them off.

You'd think one year Eloy would get the idea that he's going to see junk away to start an AB.

Amazing how people still get worked up. I was hoping MLB would come in and take over the squad like a franchise forfeiture. Maybe do a merger with the A's and solve two embarrassments.
That would be fucking hilarious. JR's precious fellow owners force his hand.

Just watched PTI, and they proclaimed the White Sox to be the worst team they have ever seen in the last 60 years.
That sums it up.

Out of all of the Sox s%*# big contracts, Benintendi might be the worst of them all. At least Dunn hit HRs every now and then. At least Keuchel had a good pandemic season. At least Danks was good for the Sox before he got paid and his arm fell off. He has gone from barely useful in his first year to completely useless in his 2nd and there's still 3+ years left.
It was also clearly predictable that he'd struggle to produce any surplus value when he signed it, even assuming 10 million per WAR in the FA market. He's the sort of signing we love to make, overpay for middling players rather than real stars.

Forcing Ventura to stick around as long term manager when his heart was clearly elsewhere one of many front office misreads.
It took some pressure away from JR KW Dunn Ozzie Buehrle situations...he was the last guy standing to take a lot of hits for an organization clearly in transition.
Should have left after 2012.
That was so stupid he obviously didn't want to be here and a billion dollar enterprice was just like "please stay on".

one thing that stands out about danny is unlike some of our so called "sluggers" he does not fucking get cheated on his swings. Dude is up there to try and do damage from pitch 1 to whatever.

It was a great career, Jose, but what's up this season?

I'm a little older and when I do some sprints, do a workout and then drink a few beers I'm on the shelf for 3 days.
It stinks. We were all 27 once in baseball years but time waits for no man.
