  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 20, 2014 -> 07:58 PM) When you see it happen so often the last two years with a variety of players, it makes you wonder what in the hell is going on. this
  2. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 20, 2014 -> 07:53 PM) Does anyone remember when Bevington got so sick of walks he started yanking guys after they walked 2? It didn't last long. The walks did. that is hilarious. I'd love to see that, just for the laughs.
  3. Tyler has never had a hot streak like this. So that means that he has created a huge progression, which is something to celebrate. Hopefully the regression has a higher support level going forward due to this new growth, maybe even a head and shoulders bottom if you will. We used to just say stay hot flowers.
  4. haha yes! tyler flowers is unbelievable. I've never seen a streak of so many bad hits. Way to go Jordan!
  5. good start to the game so far. Texas has strange walk out songs.
  6. has anyone noticed that simien's approach has been different the last few games? seems to be more aggressive to me.
  7. I've got a good feeling about this. Soria is on my awful fantasy team, so hopefully my terrrible GM abilities will continue.
  8. I thought that looked like a good pitch too...

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 18, 2014 -> 06:13 PM) No. We probably shouldn't take anything from a player struggling for 2 weeks on any level. At what point do we start taking something? I want it said here and now, so we'll be able to move forward one day.
  11. at least we won't have to watch jordan danks pitch. I was too tired to think of it, but how the hell did we not pinch run for dunn?
  12. yah baby! way to Robin for leaving him in!
  13. I'm a semien hater. Has Sale always been this animated?

I'm ready to see him go. I've heard enough about his "good at bats" . he finally made contact last night, and his at bats were thus a lot shorter, and as always, he got out. I've seen the long at bats too, and they don't look good either. He isn't going to get the walks he needs if all the pitchers in the league know he can't hit.
  15. Answer seems pretty obvious to me. Cleto was being tried out for closer, considering that Lindstrom sucked. he was sent out there to close. Webb is the long relief man so you don't put him in when there is nobody left in the pen.
