  1. Both the stadium and Mall of America are in Minnesota
  2. Anyone else besides me feel strongly about this possibility in the offseason?
  3. He’ll be nothing but minor league fodder once we sign Pujuls.
  4. When that happens, he'll definitely get his due. But will voters this year dismiss it as a flash in the pan?
  5. I know it's difficult for a.DH to win this award, but I think youd have to give it to him. Plus, hes proven hes an effective pitcher as well.
  6. Crochet should fit that mold as well if we ever have intentions of having him in the rotation.
  7. We have to lead the league in walks issued. Almost every member of our staff (starters and relievers) have been throwing too many pitches out of the zone all season long.
  8. Why wasn’t Mercedes brought in to get the save?
  9. Now that Yermin is a two way player and has proven his pitching skills, his salary demands have to be higher
  10. Yermin needs a hit tin his next 2 ABs to get his average back up to .500. I’m not used to him slumping like this.
  11. Yermins price for an 8 year deal has probably gone up $10 million since my post.
  12. I’d go 2 years $30 million with a team option on a third year at $18 million.
  13. My post from the winter not looking so crazy now!
  14. Theres always one play in every perfect game. That was it!
  15. With an 8-0 lead, I just want us quickly to make outs here. Dont make Rodon sit on the bench long and think about things.
  16. It's not just the bullpen.....its the pitching staff overall (outside of Lynn's complete game). We are falling behind way too many batters which is giving them the advantage and leading to high pitch counts (along with absurdly long games). I think we are seeing it was a mistake to replace Cooper and I expect to see Dave Duncan brought in at some point to help fix this problem.
  17. Vaughn will be a good major league hitter someday but he isn't now. Right now, he reminds of Moncada during his first year in the majors. Trust in Tony and allow Andrew time to become the player deserving of key ABs.
  18. If you don’t think Yermin can still be a superstar into his 40s, you obviously haven’t been watching him. Why let him walk and play the final 10 years of his career for another team? Don’t you want him wearing a White Sox hat when he’s inducted into Cooperstown?
  19. The closest hitter we’ve had to this caliber in my lifetime is Jose Abreu. It would be nice to have Yermin around after Jose retires to give Trout some competition for MVP on a yearly basis.
