QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ May 12, 2008 -> 02:28 PM) I saw Transformers for the first time on Cinemax yesterday. I liked it more than I thought and Megan Fox is as advertised. However, I read on her Wikipedia that she has Brian Austin Greens name tattooed on her and I dont know how I feel about that. I know, I know People either like it or loathe it. I liked it. The action was cool, the nostalgia was there for me, and I dont mind the cheesy lines. Im not looking for an Oscar winning film, just a good takeoff on a cartoon i loved as a kid

I was watching a game yesterday, either on ESPN or flipping past the Cubs game, and an announcer said that Berkman was 18 for his last 24, then he proceeded to go 2 for 3 yesterday. Thats ridiculous

QUOTE (The Critic @ May 11, 2008 -> 07:41 PM) Ahhh, you'd love them if they did Randy's intro music..... "IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!!!!" Why would Randy Orton need Motorhead to play his intro music? He already has the Carpenters, doesnt he? -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 11, 2008 -> 12:55 PM) I thought all 3 balls were gone off the bat. All of those balls were absolutely destroyed. I agree. Quentin had full extension on the meat of the bat, Beltre hit a Vazquez fastball oppo, and Anderson took a centered fastball and hit a linedrive to center that never came down -

QUOTE (Brian @ May 11, 2008 -> 11:54 AM) It's hard for me to blame the kid most of the time. You aren't allowed to work if you are a collegiate athlete, and some guy gives you a bunch of money under the table as a gift. What are you gonna do? I would of had trouble refusing it as well. A lot of temptation for these kids. Sometimes we forget they are only 18 or 19. I would at least attempt to avoid getting caught. Reggie Bush and his family recieved a HOUSE, who isnt going to notice that? -
QUOTE (G&T @ May 11, 2008 -> 10:40 AM) I like to beat the s*** out of a heating unit about 3 hours before game time. Thats an expensive pre-game ritual
-
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 10, 2008 -> 02:04 PM) Pronk appears to be one of many victims of the tough and somewhat legit drug testing policies instituted by major league baseball in the last few years. Just doesn't have that extra "juice" off the bat. He needs to call Geovany Soto and ask for some of his HGH. I agree. Back when he was tearing it up in 2004-2006, i remember he was hitting homeruns on pitches that clearly looked like they were sawing him off, breaking his bat. Now they are just weak popups. Granted, he is still a good hitter, but not THAT good
-
G&T, what is your pre-game ritual? Steak and Potatoes? Wearing the same unwashed socks? Opening and shutting the door 3 times after you walk through it while reciting "Uno, Dos, Tres"? Whatever you are doing, its working

QUOTE (Brian @ May 11, 2008 -> 09:49 AM) What's next? Eric Gordon and Derrick Rose took gifts? I know, hard to believe, right? These athletes are getting bold and dumb, though. And now they dont care who they trash in their wake. Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo are getting paid, why should they care that USC is getting dragged through the mud? -

I got this from rajah.com Im sorry, but Mickie James is quite misinformed when it comes to horses breaking ankles and legs. They arent athletes just like you. they develop laminitis when they break bones in their legs, the bones dont heal correctly. While I absolutely hate knowing that horses are put down when they break leg bones, it is something that most of the time has to be done. I dont think their billionaire owners want to kill their investments if it has a resolvable solution.
