Cotts is the 2nd best in the system. Honel is flat out amazing. Behind those two its Wing (Another lefty who impressed the hell out of me when I saw him pitch; also has an amazing pickoff move). I do think that Cotts is going to be very good though. I don't know how anyone can write him off after one game. Jason, did you see Honel this year? I have had some scouts tell me that he hasn't impressed them much this year. Said he topped out at 86 mph a game or two. I have never seen him pitch, so I have nothing to input here. Just wondering if anyone else has seen him, or even better, seen him multiple times? I have also read at a few places that a lot of poeple arnt very impressed with honel this season.......

So who catches tonite? Think it might be wise to let Alomar catch the rookie? Then again miggy has the 2nd best staff ERA. (only ramon hernandez of the A's is better)

Yan is in somewhat of a slump... Hes gone from hitting well over .360 to being close to falling under .300 Not what i was hoping to see from him. I know a lot of people are clamoring for him to move up to Bham. But i would hope they keep him in high A till hes on another hot streak... no use moving him up when hes in a slump... could only hurt him...

Not Reinsdorf, he had ordered the 'RPR' contract clause not be invoked. Williams did it against orders, and JR cleaned up the mess, giving Thomas a contract he could live with worth about the same as the old one. ARe you serious! WTF! if KW did that without the consent of the owner... how the f*** does he still have a job. You know the one thing i respect and admire about JR is his loyalty to his employees. Its really great hes so good to his people. But there is a point where common sense has to overule his loyalty to his guys..... ok me gonna go stand in the corner and take a TO on this issue. I guess i am a bit more negative then most.... The way i see it is 90% of of em wont make it. they might contribute... but they wont really make it big.... There is a good reason front of the line starters are so rare... therefore i guess i judge em a bit harsher then others would... know what i mean?
