  1. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 01:03 PM) Hey man, welcome to the board...It's good to have another Huskie fan on this site. Thanks man. I cant wait to go to the big house and see the Huskies take on Michigan. Should be a good time win or lose
  2. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) I think Hawk is going senile on us. Meh...I think hes just becoming more of a bitter old man. (World Series win might change that!) I hope he can stick around for a few more years as long as he doesnt start getting worse. The Griffey comments I think were made to not build up fans hopes. I dont think he actually believes that is true. Especially with our play of late!
  3. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2146528 Wonder who's next in the Flub tradeoff??
  4. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 02:35 PM) Welcome aboard! Did you post at WSI? Thanks! I still do, I just wanted to get on board here as well. I usually post there and lurk over here too. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys at Core of the Core.
  5. I can't wait till Timo doesnt have to be a starter each and every game. Get back here soon Pods...we need ya!
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 12:02 PM) I think we need to give Jose some love. A lot of use left him for dead near the trade deadline and he has just put up solid numbers. His GB ratio is up and has shown some serious guts against the Yanks. I think the key with Jose is obviously keeping the walks down and getting ahead of the hitters earlier in the count. He's got awesome stuff but his head is usually up his ass. Maybe this month is a preview of the future Contreras. I sure hope so!
