  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 06:59 PM) Seriously? Do i really need to comment on this? You typed words into a reply box and clicked the "Add reply" button, so apparently yes.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 06:31 PM) you are still here, arent you? Somehow QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 06:31 PM) Suspensions. Interested? The "tough internet mod" card sure is an impressive one to play. Really must make the girls swoon.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 04:25 PM) #TheReturn But seriously, I'm sure there are some moronic T'Wolves fans out there. There certainly are. There are none of them saying the Wolves have a chance at the title however, which is equivalent to what he just posted.
  4. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 03:48 PM) If they can stay healthy, get a 75% DRose, and get a hot Marco in the playoffs I still think they have a chance at the title...Randomly throwing that out there because the board has been so boring lately. Bulls fans are hilarious sometimes
  5. His shot has been flat since coming back. I think it's just a matter of riding out. He came back pretty fast from the injury in the first place (maybe too fast), so it's not surprising that it's lingering now.
  6. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 14, 2012 -> 07:11 AM) Kevin Love is going to get traded, sorry Felix. Sad part is they are setting themselves up wonderfully to compete, but that front office is incompetent as long as Kahn runs it and it insults Love. Fans started booing now as well. Three years from now, yes, Kevin Love might be traded (I don't think he will be, but there's a chance). Until then however, it's f***ing stupid to speculate about.
  7. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 13, 2012 -> 08:56 PM) Also, I'm sure its been posted, but the ref trying to block Kris Humphries shot is the greatest moment in NBA history. Fact
  8. The Timberwolves are not trading Kevin Love.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 12, 2012 -> 05:38 PM) And there is nothing he can do to force them to, no matter how unhappy he is. If he was that unhappy, he shouldn't have signed the extension. This article is nothing new. Wojnarowski wrote literally the same article back in the offseason, saying the same stuff. Love's stance hasn't changed (obviously). If the Timberwolves win games and become a legit playoff team, Love is going nowhere. If they struggle and miss the playoffs regularly, he'll opt out. We've known this all along.
  10. The Timberwolves are not trading Kevin Love. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 12, 2012 -> 03:04 PM) Bulls In: Kevin Love, Hedo Turkoglu, Arron Afflalo, Derrick Williams Bulls Out: Boozer, Deng, Hamilton, Taj, Bobcats Pick, Mirotic, 2013, 2015, 2017 First Round Picks + 2nd Round Pick T-Wolves In: Hamilton, Redick, Taj, Mirotic, Bobcats Pick, 2013/2017 Firsts + Bulls 2nd Round Pick T-Wolves Out: Love, Williams. Magic In: Deng, Boozer, Bulls 2015 First Magic Out: Redick, Afflalo, Turkoglu Bulls become... PG: Rose/Hinrich/Robinson/Teague SG: Afflalo/Hinrich SF: Butler/Turkoglu PF: Love/Williams C : Noah/Nazr http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b6qxhr6 At least we aren't posting trades that insanely benefit the Bulls and suck for both other teams involved. Oh... wait.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 04:30 PM) This happened at yesterday's Lakers game. I can't stop watching it. I mean, just look at this f***ing guy. The emphatic whipping off of the sunglasses, the backward hat, the arched eyebrow, the curl of his lips as he unleashes what was surely an epic bro-yawp, the fact that he was wearing sunglasses in the first place—it's all just too goddamn much. deadspin Not even close to the best douchey Lakers fan .gif
  12. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Nov 14, 2012 -> 05:59 PM) you just fed the troll a filet mignon It's too much fun sometimes Edit: Also, the local media tore this s***ty story apart when it was first released. It's awful.
  13. You're f***ing crazy if you think a professional sports team is intentionally going after white players to sell tickets. It's incredibly racist to make the assumption that Minnesotans only would buy tickets to see a white team, and considering the vast majority of the white players on the team are INTERNATIONAL players, it's an even bigger preposterous statement. Winning sells tickets. It's as simple as that. The two most beloved Minnesotan athletes in history are Kevin Garnett and Kirby Puckett (OH MY GOD BLACKIES!!!). The claim is ludicrous, and anyone that wastes their time believing it or even considering it needs to get a life.
  14. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 11:08 PM) His assists per 36 minutes has been over 7 and is at 7.9 this year. Yes, that's a pretty damn good clip, especially considering he's never been playing primarily with starters, but rather bench players. And when he's come into games, he's usually the best scorer on the floor for his team, so of course, for the most part, he's going to volume shoot. He takes maybe 1 or 2 shots out of the offense. Nothing more. His assists per 36 is actually 6.6 this year, not 7.9, but that's irrelevant. His career AST/36 is 4.4. His career assist percentage is 20.9%. Over the last three years, his assist percentage is 25.9. He's not a passer. What do you trust more, his six games this year, or his 448 games BEFORE this year?
  15. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 10:35 PM) This exactly. Nate actually racks up assists at a pretty good rate, but his problems have always been turnovers. He has a good sense when he's on and when he's off. Boozer has been much better this year, but he must get used to being the man every game. Nate Robinson has a career AST% of 20.9... that's far from a "pretty good rate" for a point guard. In fact, it's pretty godawful. Admittedly his rate this season is better than that (*cough* sample size), and his rate last season (31.8) was at least serviceable, but let's not pretend he's a good distributor. He's a 5'9" shoot-first point guard, except historically he hasn't shot very well (career 52.3 TS%, which is pretty much average). He had a pretty good second half tonight because he was able to stay in control and not get too caught up in the fact that he was making a couple of jump shots. That's about it, though.
  16. Nate Robinson is bad. He's incredibly streaky, but when he hits two shots in a row he gets the idea that he's suddenly Michael Jordan and tries to start doing things that he can't do. Add in the fact that he doesn't involve anyone else on the offensive end of the floor, and it's not pretty.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) 3 year deal says Yahoo. Sheesh. He doesn't need it. Just retire and enjoy it. That was a fake Twitter account. Nothing is finalized yet. Kirk Hinrich: Bad at Basketball™ Edit: Also, Nate Robinson has played 3 minutes so far tonight. He's taken four shots, missed them all (including an ugly as s*** airball and some bricks from the corner) and MAYBE thrown two passes (maybe).
  18. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 8, 2012 -> 05:43 AM) At least they're playing hard so far the 1st 4 games. Still when you have Big Baby should 20 foot jumpers all game and he's only making about 20% of them, the Magic are hardly going to win. Would love if we can get him and Harrington off the books by the end of the season somehow. Sorry DBAHO, but after watching that Magic team last night... man they're atrocious. That starting lineup is just garbage.
  19. QUOTE (MEANS @ Nov 7, 2012 -> 07:14 AM) I saw the tweet with the soundboard with the label Drums-Dave. Have you seen anything else besides that? I'm freaking happy if this is true. http://consequenceofsound.net/2012/11/dave...tone-age-album/
  20. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 09:54 PM) Don't blame me for your sh*tty thread, I'm not stopping you guys from talking about what you want to talk about. You missed the part where I said the thread was s***ty BEFORE you. So just use your imagination to picture how truly godawful it is now. I mean s***, the last three pages have been you arguing a ridiculous point just for the sake of arguing, leading to an asshole like me coming into the thread with the sole purpose of calling you a moron. THAT is what the NBA thread is all about.
