Yeah it's quite possible. If he stays with good teams and stays healthy he'll be the kind of guy who will win 12 a year. Never dominating but good enough to win and give some quality starts. I think his size and mechanics will keep him healthy barring a freak injury. Jon has alwyas been consistent and is ready to go every 5 days. I have found that the whole PECTOTA system is great for fantasy baseball, but when it comes to real baseball it all kind of falls apart, as the sox proved last year. The system is good at predicting a player's numbers, but as far as predicting a team's succes it is worthless. It definetly overvalues OBP and undervalues defense and fundamental baseball. It also tends to undervalue pitchers like Buehrle, Glavine, and even Maddux. Guys who don't have great K or Hit rates but still find a way to win.

Let em talk, the more they talk now the sweeter it will be when they choke in september and the sox are in the playoffs.

I always like it when someone tells it like it is, but it's usually a bad idea to accuse people and name names when you are in no way related to the situation. How does he know what Bonds is doing? I'd put my money on Heroine or Coke. 2 years seems a little harsh, if this guy has a problem maybe they should suspsend him for the year and then only reinstate him if he does rehab and remains clean for a period of time. Two years from now his NBA money will be gone and he'll be so messed up he has no chance of returning.

I think that Sox ownership just needed the leverage to get a stadium deal. I am not sure how serious they were about moving, they just needed the threat to get money from the city.

I like a TE in the first round, but I see no reason to get another receiver, especially a FA. We have Moose, Berrian, Gage, and don't forget Bradley. Berrian showed what he could do today, I think we have a solid group for a running team. If we sign any big name FA it should be a CB. If we have a shutdown coverage CB in this game we win. Tillman was embarrassed by Smith, he didn't get much help from the safeties but that doesn't mean Smith should be able to do what he did. Our D was exposed today by the Panther's passing game and it's embarrassing to see this happen in Chicago in the playoffs.

I think he'll be valuable for the D-Backs who had a terrible bullpen last year.

Another problem I have with this is the Indians getting a C+. I would give them a D or at most a C-. Basically their offseason was losing Wickman and replacing him with Byrd and overpaying for an over-the-hill closer. I don't understand how they improved at all.
