  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 04:48 PM) Strong looks so generic to me. Hope he has some personality. I'm unfamiliar with him. He certainly does look generic, but dude can go. Here's a fun match to get you excited for the Strong/Aries tag team.
  2. About time WWE brought in Roddy. Now they need Alex Shelley to reform generation next(Strong, Aries, and Shelley).
  3. While we are talking crazy here.....All this Putin stuff floating around is hogwash right?
  4. Gonna throw out a name here to get some thoughts......Manny Ramirez. He was signed on as a player/coach with the Cubs the year Rick was over there.....He would bring some energy and I think guys would really listen to him when it comes to hitting.
  5. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Oct 4, 2016 -> 06:43 PM) I think that McEwing is gone and that he goes to another team that is currently cast in a better light (like the Braves) as a Bench Coach. With the exception of Coop, I do want to see new blood in the dugout but a case is to be made for Severson. I'd love to hear that case be made. If anything, I'd rather have Sparks be promoted. Read a few positive things about the way Sparks worked with Abreu and a few other guys.
  6. My Gordon and Mckinnon for Elliott trade literally went though today. #Winning
  7. One of my all time favorites, Eddie Kingston, is finally getting a tryout. He's a guy who I think could be a top heel if used correctly. Heidi Lovelace who is almost equally awesome is also getting a tryout.
  8. Sigh. Down goes Decker it looks like. Just traded Josh Gordon too(Gordon and McKinnon for Elliott) My WRs are now Alshon, Markus Wheaton, Tyler Lockett, and Kendall Wright. 14 team league too so pickings are extremely thin on the FA market....Guys like Funchess, Aiken, Coates, Perriman, DGB, Boyd, and Brice Brown are what I have to pick from. Any of the guys intrigue you?
  9. As someone who has long said managers don't matter, even I am a little upset.
  10. Speaking of jobbers, I worked 3 shows with Nick Cutler on it, so it was pretty cool seeing him out there in the tag match.
  11. I think it should be changed to an upside down house because they need to turn this organization upside down.
  12. Well s***. Now I feel bad...Thanks Father Time... Why you gotta take things so literal?
  13. Wait.....it happened?? AP is hurt? Swear I didn't know when I typed that shut up.
  14. The following post is meant for s***s and giggles. Really hope father time has beaten Peterson with a switch so bad that the Vikes are forced to play Mckinnon......Cuz I could really use a good McKinnon on my fantasy team to make up for the abomination that was my trade I posted 2 weeks ago. Also need father time to hit up Josh McCown. I needs me some Cody "Captain Checkdown" Kessler to feed Duke Johnson the 70 passes the coaches and media led me to believe he could grab this year....Ya know, to help rationale my decision to trade David Johnson for him and Alshon. Need to see if Father Time can hit up his boy Jesus and have him find Josh Gordon because that'd be nice too. One last favor.... Hit up Forte too. He's just making me sad.
  15. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 15, 2016 -> 10:22 AM) Yes, with the last 4 TJP was the only logical choice. Ibushi and Sabre apparently haven't signed, and Metallik has dates in Mexico to wrap up, so while he's signed, he won't be full time right away. Even outside of the logical choice, TJP is a good one, good worker and a good face to kick the division off with. Wish they'd bring Aries in as the heel challenger right away. Bringing up Aries would be awesome. If not Aries, they should turn Ciampa heel(turn on Gargano to set up a #1 contenders match) and just turn him into the psycho bad ass he is. Is Kalisto on Raw?
  16. CWC Spoiler........ ......Love seeing TJP win it. Gargano, Ciampa, and Swan were already over with the crowd and Ibushi/Sabre aren't signed so it makes sense to get someone else over and TJP is the right choice.
  17. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 12:26 PM) Boston would not trade JBJ in a Sale package. Why would they do it for Q. They also will not trade Rodriguez in a package for a pitcher. Swihart is a left fielder and no longer a catcher. Boston's starting pitching has been really good since All Star braek. Dombrowski will probably look for a Hellickson or Gray deal. IMO, after reading one of the beat guys tweet out that the 2 teams were laying the ground work for an off-season trade, the Bo Sox just didn't wanna trade JBJ, or any major leaguer, mid season. Why "Lay the ground work for an off-season trade" and not just do it then? Either there is talks of a major leaguer or possibly a 2016 draft pick. Is Swihart bad defensively or do they just wanna get his bat in the lineup?
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 07:07 AM) I'd rather have Arizona's #1 RB and a potential top 5 guy plus Atlanta's #2 WR than the oft-injured Alshon and a guy not starting. Not sure which side of that you're on, but this one's not really close. Maybe I was drinking Kool aid along with my beer when I made the trade but I really think Alshon stays healthy this year and has a monster year. I also love me some Duke Johnson in the PPR format.
  19. It'll never happen, but I would both buy and sell. Sign Rich Hill to really corner the SP market.....Trade Q to Boston for JBJ/Moncada/Swihart/Rodriguez.....Hope Shields retires.....Resign Morneau with intentions of potentially flipping him once Collins is ready. Sale-Hill-Rodon-Rodriguez-Gonzalez/Fulmer 1. Eaton RF 2. Anderson SS 3. JBJ CF 4. Abreu 1B 5. Morneau DH 6. Frazier 3B 7. Melky LF 8. Moncada 2B 9. Swihart C Add Burdi, Putnam, and Petricka to this disaster of a pen. If it fails again, then you trade Sale.
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 10:17 PM) Build a complete pitching staff somehow. Fire Robin, hire Leyland, fire Cooper and get a pitching coach who believes in 7 innings from his starters minimum. Pitching, pitching, pitching, defense, defense, defense. Coop doesn't believe in starters going 7 innings? Huh.
  21. Now I'm patiently waiting to see what Steve thinks of my Johnson and Sanu for Alshon and Duke Johnson trade that I am still 2nd guessing.
  22. Just traded David Johnson and Sanu for Alshon and Duke Johnson.......Proposed the trade drunkish, and still not sure whether I regret it or not. Week 1-4 WR... Alshon/Decker/Lockett...Add in Josh Gordon after that.
  23. Wrapped up the 14 team PPR/Point Per Completion draft last night (6 hours BTW). QB- Eli WR- Decker WR- Lockett (Return points too) WR- Sanu RB- D. Johnson RB- Shady TE- Ertz Flex- Woodhead Bench- Josh Gordon, Starks, McKinnon, Lafell, Winston. I typically don't like going with 2 QBs but Winston was available in the last round of a 14 team draft so I couldn't pass....This league im in has been going on for 5 years I guess and they were all talking about how there are a lot of trades every year so I had that in mind with the Winston move. One injury and he could be extremely valuable. Praying Josh Gordon keeps his s*** together. If he doesn't then my WR corp might be my downfall. Thoughts?
  24. QUOTE (miracleon35th @ Aug 27, 2016 -> 06:16 PM) Wpuld not mind if they offered both to LA for Puig. Dodgers pen has been ridiculous this year, don't think they need Robertson. I wouldn't be surprised to see a team take Robertson with a decent return. Outside of the 3 games where we was either on extreme rest and the game he came in in a non save situation he really hasn't been THAT bad. I know it's cherry picking but when you take out those 3 games he has something like.a 1.64 ERA.
  25. SoI've entered myself into a 75 dollar league at work. Most I've ever spent on a league and ironically this year is the least I've been prepared. It's a PPR and a point(.5) per completion league, which I'm new to. So my question to you guys is who are some undervalued QBs in an offense that is gonna be throwing the ball a ton. When would you try to grab a QB in this type of league? 14 teams......
