  1. Well, say goosbye to these guys .They are now with the A's organization all for Nick Swisher
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 2, 2007 -> 08:58 PM) No word yet on who is getting called up. Mccullough and armstrong are moving up today...looks like Ricks is going back down.Cook is also moving up.
  3. QUOTE(BearSox @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 07:33 PM) ba-dum-bum! he's still in Tucson,rehabbing an injury
  4. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 5, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...ue&sid=t494 This isn't near what the roster will look like, but it should give us some idea, mainly with some minor league FA. Any other thoughts on the prospective roster? Where is Liotta rated these days...havent heard much about him???
  5. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 08:00 AM) Yeah it certainly is. He must have been impressing in rookie ball, and the Sox just decided to see what he can do in B-Ham for a couple of games. I wouldn't think he would be starting there next season though. First inning he over threw to 3rd base and the first run scored. Think the jump was too much!!
  6. QUOTE(danman31 @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 01:23 AM) Leaving Liotta and Ryan Rodriguez where? Whisler is pitching well enough and old enough that he might find his way into Charlotte's rotation next year. Russell might slot into the pen if he doesn't improve, the Sox have moved a few guys into the pen at AA (LaMura is the only one I can think of now). That said, the only guy I'm expecting in Charlotte is Whisler. The Sox might leave one of Liotta or Rodriguez in Winston-Salem or move one of them to the pen the way they are going. Also, I just noticed LaMura got the win tonight against Birmingham. He's still putting up filthy K and H/9 numbers. On the late season promotion front Lucy is in Birmingham, I wonder if the Sox moved up all the catchers (Ricks caught yesterday in W-S) because of Stewart's injury. Lucy deserves to be in Birmingham!!!!!!! he works with the pitchers constantly and consistantly, was sad to see him go, but i am happy for him... Liotta is still having a hard time....Rodriguez had 3 good outings and then the last on the 14th wasnt up to par......
  7. QUOTE(bigredrudy @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 06:41 PM) What happened to Robert? He is no longer playing. Is he injured and if so what kind of injury does he have? He was sent to Winston Salem at the end of June and played nine games. Thats all I know.
  8. hes with the CLASS A Brewers
  9. QUOTE(bbmom @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) Kind of makes me wonder..........Russell and Harrell first game in Birmingham, they both got rocked....Liotta and Rodriguez come back to W.S and their second games are almost back where they used to be.... Just a question...then do Liotta and Rodriguez feel more comfortable coming from AA to A ?
  10. Kind of makes me wonder..........Russell and Harrell first game in Birmingham, they both got rocked....Liotta and Rodriguez come back to W.S and their second games are almost back where they used to be....
  11. GREAT TO SEE LIOTTA HAVE A GOOD GAME AND GET BACK ON TRACK>>>>
  12. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 02:12 PM) That doesn't sound very hopefully, or is it just me? The announcement was everything will stay the same. www.barons.com has the article.
  13. He was activated from the diabled list on 6/7 and then immediately released from Charlotte.
  14. The youngest replaces the youngest. Rodriguez had just turned 22 in July. Schnurstein also just turned 22 in July.
