  1. HAHA!! I was thinking the exact same thing.
  2. Great article Jason! I would love to see the Giles/Kendall trade and the Colon trade to happen, but I only realisticly see the Colon trade happen, if anything. I just think that Giles would not want to play for us, even though I think he'd be crazy not to. I mean, if he wants to pass up the opportunity to play in the World Series(which he could if we got him and Kendall) and keep playing for that loser team the Pirates then he can stay there as far as I'm concerned.

    Giles

Does anyone know who Brian Giles' agent is? From what I've heard, Giles has a list of teams he'll play for and who he won't. Hell, I heard he turned down a trade that would have sent him to the Yanks just 'cause they're in the AL. If that is true, it sounds to Me like his agent could be none other than...........Scott BorASS. And, if it is Boras then we can rule that trade idea out of the picture.
  4. If we added Giles and Kendall our line-up would be freakin unstoppable , or at least on paper anyway
  5. ALRIGHT! The Cubs and Royals lose, now if we win then this will be very good day.
  6. WTF!! They got 3 players? , 2 being Webster and Rupe who I thought if either one of them was picked, they'd only get 2 players instead of 3.
  7. Yea, I agree. If we do trade Colon to the Giants, we HAVE to get Williams in return(he's a freakin stud), and after him I'd ask for Foppert(who has potential to be the best of all of S.F.'s pitchers) or Ainsworth, then I'd ask for Matt Cain, who is injured for the rest of the year, but if he can come back, then I think he'll be a good ML starter. I hope Cain doesn't lose any velocity though b/c he throws high 90's that can reach 100 mph, and I'd love to have a power pitcher in our system since we don't have that many.
  8. I agree, if we don't resign Colon. I think our rotation will be something like Buehrle, Garland, and Loaiza as our top 3 if we don't resign Colon. If we do resign Colon, just make him or Buehrle #1 and the other #2, and then push Garland and Loaiza down one spot to #3 and #4.
  9. Don't worry, I just changed it. It's Urlacher now!
  10. yea, it is. He REALLY SUCKS!!!! But, I just put the pic on their b/c I wanted to put something of Illinois on there, but I'm gonna change it.
  11. HAHA!! LMAO!! I like that song
  12. HAHAHA!! I'm not sure what the score is, can someone tell me?
  13. That sounds good about Schnurstein, but I've become a little worried about Anderson. This sux he had to get injured especially b/c he was playing so well.
  14. I agree totally with what your saying. I think the White Sox should trade Colon to the Giants for Williams, Foppert, and Matt Cain. Then we could go trade Lee and prospects(Malone, Diaz, B. Miller, etc.) to the Orioles for Ponson. Now look at what our Starting rotation would look like(in no particular order): Buerhle- 8-10, 4.21 ERA, 149.2 IP(24 yrs. old) Loaiza- 12-5, 2.16 ERA, 137.1 IP(31 yrs. old) Garland- 7-7, 4.51 ERA, 111.2 IP(23 yrs. old) Ponson- 13-5, 3.64 ERA, 138.1 IP(26 yrs. old) Williams- 5-1, 2.83 ERA, 63.2 IP(21 yrs. old) Now, if you look at our starters, we have gotten younger and better all around. All of our pitchers also have low ERA's(garland & buerhle would be much lower if not for some really bad outings). And, our lineup isn't affected much b/c we'd just move Everett to LF and Roward to CF.
  15. I hope everything checks out find in the MRI for Anderson and I hope Schnurstein is 100% healthy now, I don't want him coming back to soon from a wrist injury b/c those can really hurt a players career(especially if it becomes a nagging injury for many years).
  16. o ok, thanks. That would suck if you were a GM but couldnt make a trade b/c a player was on the DL. Of course, I guess you could always do one of those waiver deals, however those work.
  17. Wait, is there a rule that says someone can't be traded if they're on the DL or are you just saying no one will want him b/c he's on the DL?
  18. I agree with both of you. I really like the way that Rowand was playing after he came back up from AAA. Hopefully, he'll continue playing that way next year too.
  19. Do ya'll think that Juan Gone will be traded now that he is on the DL. I don't mind if he's traded, I just hope it's not to the Royals. If I were a GM and I wanted Gonzalez, I wouldnt let the injury change my mind about trading for him. But, I hope the injury changes the Royals' mind, and they don't make any moves.
  20. Alright cool, but can mine stay on Great Falls even though I probably wont have enough posts when you change it.
  21. I've got a quick question: why does Great Falls come before Bristol on the counter for # of posts a poster has made? I'm just asking b/c it should be the other way around.
  22. I agree. This year we are a lot better team than last year(or at least on paper we are), and after seeing the trades that we have already made to show that we are serious about winning and considering that our pitching staff is doing really good this year so far, Giles would have to be crazy to not want to play for us and keep playing for his loser Pirates.
  23. I totally understand you were just answering his question, I was just saying that I didn't want him. Sorry if I sounded like a jackass or anything.
  24. No, I don't agree. Not if we can get Williams in the deal who is having a great year for SF this year. And, not if we would do the Giles/Kendall trade with the Pirates because we clear Colon's contract.
