  1. Well at least it's not a baseball show. If it was a baseball show they'd have to show the game. And f*** another inning...
  2. It would make more sense then wouldn't it? It is sports after all....
  3. The one time in my life I am rooting for the Cubs they f***ing blow it with that double play in the 13th. I just want the f***ing game over with. :fyou Cubs :fthecubs :fyou FSN Couldn't they use CLTV or something? C'mon, this is ridiculous.

    Waiver

I think it's by record until a team picks. So if San Diego is number 1 Detroit had to pick a player off waivers.

    Waiver

I don't know the order, but I know the Padres are first because Gammons was saying how a deal for Giles or Kendall could happen in August because of that.
  6. It's hail according to dictionary.com
  7. I'm just curious, but why? Because he's struggling? Bad matchup? Just to give him rest? Why?
  8. He beat SF (6 IP, 4 ER), St. Louis (5.1, 2), Cleveland (7, 1 and 7, 2), Detroit (7, 2), Texas (7, 0), Seattle (5.1, 1), and Detroit again (5, 0). That's in order. SF mostly got the better of him, but other than that he pitched well against 2-3 good hitting teams depending on whether you think Texas is a good hitting team.
  9. Travis Lee HR! 4-0 Rays! Alright! Beat those damn Royals!
  10. Damn shame Chicago writers aren't this optimistic. This idiot thought that ball was routine, right there you can tell he has no intelligence. The thing I love about this article is that it's not a 'bring it on' article, it's a 'we're not dead yet' article. Basically, as Homer Simpson would say, it's loser talk. Personally, I'd rather have the 3 game sweep on the road as the statement instead of the comeback in the 9th that resulted in a loss anyway. I definitely felt that they showed heart by the comeback, but this guy made it sound like it makes up for losing the series.
  11. No hail by me, but hard rain and lots of it.
  12. You also didn't see White's comments on SC and other sports shows. I think that makes a difference. For once not getting media coverage might help us.
  13. That is extremely odd. It's one thing to only go to 1 game per year or so, but to never have been to a game. How odd, especially considering most owners go to as many home games as possible.
  14. This definitely needs to be added to the board! That's the funniest smiley ever!
  15. The fans have been pissed because they know management has the money, but won't spend it. It's really a shame to see this. Even the Royals are making trades and last year the Expos made trades yet the Mariners who sell great won't. This is what's wrong with baseball.
  16. The Royals are a 3rd place team with a 1st place heart. Good thing for us the Sox have been acting like a 1st place team in both areas lately.
  17. Montreal was not going to trade Vasquez. They were pretty strong about that. Even if we got Vasquez we'd have to give up top notch prospects.
  18. It doesn't matter, he didn't get the pitcher. I'm satisfied with the moves he made. The trades improved our team, and we don't need to give up too many prospects.
  19. A 2.90 ERA blows? What are you on? :dips***
  20. Contradicted? Contracted Jason, contracted. LOL Taking the Yankees out of baseball would please a lot of people and disgust many more.
  21. Now Jason Stark just reported that they got Al Levine for cash. It's still being tinkered with, but Levine is going to the Royals. Interesting, he could improve them. He's not a SP, but they need pitching period.
  22. LOL!!! I was thinking of a line like that, but couldn't come up with one.
  23. BBTN is reporting they reversed the original Sauerbeck deal, and then got Sauerbeck and Suppan for Freddy Sanchez.

    Spiff or Ian

Yeah, it's cool. I like the 3 theme. I'm gonna have to go out and prove that winning Bowl Pix 1 wasn't a fluke by winning it this year.
