In before all the meatballs say Robert is trash lol
He's not trash, we just know he has a sky-high ceiling as a player and he's capable of far better results than he's had

Luis Robert is too good for all those trash at-bats he was having.

Well, I typo'd:
Hit would belong to pitcher that started the at bat, walk belongs to pitcher finishing the at bat.
I assume the strikeout would belong to the starting pitcher.
aahhhh that makes sense

Well, according to Steve: Hit would belong to pitcher that started the at bat, hit belongs to pitcher finishing the at bat.

that's clear as mud, lol
My assumption would be the pitcher finishing the at-bat

I think they all have cards in their hats now that tells them signals and defenses and stuff. Paxton was looking at his during the game
And abridged scouting reports

When a pitcher has to finish another pitcher's matchup, who gets credited with the stats (hit, walk, strikeout, etc)?
-
What happened to Paxton? I'm at work and don't have the game on.

Sounds like Brian Anderson’s scouting report...thankfully, Robert seems to have a lot more dedication to the game and to his teammates.
Much as Anderson was a bust he was far from the worst thing they trotted out there. He was better than, say, Encarnacion, or Palka, or LaRoche

I think just physically Crochet will not be in the rotation in 2022. He needs to build up innings slowly due to his lack of innings.
I would not count on him in the rotation until 2023.
In a perfect world they'd have been easing him back in last year, but pandemic is pandemic, so here we are (also because the pitching was razor-thin then too)
-
Robert's scouting report probably says something to the effect of "fastball 6 inches off the corner, sinker, or slider, because he will swing at anything even remotely close to the zone and either strike out or harmlessly pop up"
It's still far too early to actually be worried about him because he's shown off-the-charts ability, but he clearly hasn't adjusted to the league yet and he is not able to simply dominate with his physical ability anymore like he could in the minors.

Different guns and the one in Anaheim seemed a little hot.
Yeah Ohtani was throwing 101, I didn't know he could throw that hard

Topping out at 96? Hopefully that’s by design
he was hitting triple digits his last outing, though I might be confusing him with Crochet

Kopech's got "it." Wish we had him on last year's squad but it is what it is.

Robert 100% would have cut off Eloy on that liner Vaughn just caught.

I really didn't think Rodon had 98 mph in him.

Rodon walks 3 straight.
Haggerty swings at the first pitch.
Channeling his inner Luis Robert there.

Having all these night games right at the beginning of the season kind of sucks

They suck, especially if you live on the east coast because they start at 10 pm. But I am on night shifts right now so I'm up all night.
