Kopech is fine and it hasn't been "30 months". He worked up to and threw a completely dominant inning and touched 102mph/100mph/101mph just last March in a competitive spring start in AZ. If you don't believe me Passan just stated he's heard nothing but very good things about his work this winter. Kopech is good.

There is nothing special about Dunning. If you can get a proven horse like Lynn for him you do it in a heartbeat.

The amount of over-valuing of unproven, best case ceiling #3 Dane Dunning in this thread is astounding but not suprising.

They're not gonna trade Kelley unless it's a haul back. He's got a chance to be an elite pitching prospect in a year or two. Gio has approached Buehrle status within the organization. Every effort will be made to extend him ASAP.

I didn't watch the presser but that's the primary reason RR and Cooper were fired. I'm sure he told RH/KW he's open to it. They're not gonna scrap the organization's entire in game analytics model for a favor hire to Reinsdorf.

Obviously Rick has been publically undermined. This isn't his hire but the real concern is the intent with the next manager was to further infuse FO analytics into the actual in-game decisions and TLR likely isn't down for that. He said he will be but there are real doubts. That's the real tension here.
