Why does it seem like the Sox do things we would like to see when they are down by so many runs. But im done for the night, sox game is going off.

Tigers calling up top pitching prospect Jacob Turner according to Jon Heyman. Turner was #21 overall prospect coming into this season, hes started 17 games this season in AA and is 3-5 with a 3.48 era. If you cant trade for a pitcher, just bring up the best that you have in the minors .. cant beat that logic right? On a more sad note, Its finally come to that time where theres a player in the majors that is younger then me, f***, albeit i have a solid 9 months on him.

Buster Olney is making it sound like the Braves are working hard to beat the Phillies to the punch to get Pence, would be interesting to be in the war rooms for those two teams. Anyway go Braves since they want an "athletic" outfielder, and apparently quentin just does cut it.

Beggars really cant be choosers and with Roy Williams at least we get the size we have been asking for. Its well known that Williams had his best years with Martz and the Bears receiver coach is the guy that coached him at Texas, so really I am fine with the signing and hope he can show us some good things, remember he does have Cutler throwing to him, Cutler likes his big receivers. I think Hurd is an awesome acquisition, and give the bears 5 viable targets at the WR position. People can say they wanted Malcom Floyd, but in reality he would want like 7m a year. As for Sims-Walker it would have been nice, it would still be nice, but in the end it just seemed like the inter-personnel relationships won over.
