You're still stuck with KW who manged a lousy farm system, taking risks on bad players, made a lot of bad trades, ect.

I feel like we are the Oakland Raiders of MLB.

Kenny's dream job. No wonder why it's so bad.

It really is the worst being a fan of a bad veteran team.

Can we just stop the Buehrle trade talk? Amazing things happen when he pitches and he's our boy. I want him to be our Wakefield. I want his name retired here. I want a statue. I want him here forever. That man has defied all the conventional pitching wisom.

I hear you, and I would agree with you fully if I knew Buehrle wanted to pitch until he couldn't--late 30's/early 40's, the usual.

If he's going to retire in a few years anyway, I'd be happy for him going home to St. Louis to finish out his career.

If he stays, great. But if the Sox can find the right deal, and one that he would approve, I'd be ok with that too.

  3. If Buehrle wanted to go to the Cardinals, and they wanted him, I'd do it. Couple good prospects.

Danks to the Yankees for Austin Romine and a couple pitchers, maybe get Banuelos or Betances.

Quentin to Atlanta seems to have legs. I'll take a pitcher or two.

Jackson and Floyd would be on the table.

Thornton...I would trade in a second if the right deal was there.

Everyone else is almost untradeable, wouldn't bring enough talent back, or I don't want them to trade yet.

  4. When people talk about their fantasy team while at the game. Give it a rest. Nobody cares.

And on leaving your seat during an inning, if you can do it between an AB, it's ok. Just make it quick.

Their job is to judge whether the state proved that she was guilty of the charges, not that she was "innocent" of them. That's why they say "Not Guilty". They did their jobs correctly.

They did the job, but in my opinion, they could have just as easily found her guilty based on the abundance of circumstantial evidence.

In the end, the State overcharged. If they just went for charges that would have kept her in jail for 15-20+ years, it would have been done.

  6. I wasn't really going for the abstinence angle when I said too many people who aren't ready to be parents are having kids....although abstinence is one option.

We just have too many young women (girls) having kids because they want somebody to love THEM unconditionally. Even if it means they can't care for them emotionally and/or financially.

  7. I haven't heard enough people say we need teenagers and other people not ready for real parenting to stop having babies. To me, it's one of the biggest problems in our country.

This is what happens when a narcissist like Casey Anthony doesn't like her human toy anymore. She just throws it away.

Might Axelrod and Doyle get looks in September????

Cooper was on the radio Sunday night and gave them both shout-outs. You never know, but they might have to make room on the 40-man for that to happen.

  9. I don't know...if the Cubs kicked in cash to make it even money-wise, I think I would consider it.

Doubt the Cubs would even touch that though. Dunn is having trouble making any contact. I don't think it has anything to do with him DHing or playing the field.
