Agree with this. There are only two above average 3 point shooters in the rotation (Frazier and Griffin) and it just makes more sense to stagger them a bit, Griffin still gets starters minutes and can close games out. The shooting should be a bit better next year with the additions of Hutcherson and Adam Miller. Good sign that Underwood is making a strong all around roster.

You should still be excited. His original timeline was January and decided to commit earlier than that. Illinois fans have been burned by Gordon and Snider in the past, so I get it, but this is pretty awesome news.

I read that was the case early on, but by the time he hit campus everyone seemed to be shooting for 2 and done. Maybe that changes with how he's performing, but I don't think he's leaving unless he's a first rounder and guys like him are just hard to place in today's NBA.
