  1. Please, please, please, please, please score here.....It doesn't get any easier than this.
  2. QUOTE (kane0730 @ May 14, 2008 -> 10:41 PM) I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't put the blame on Walker. I blame KW for brining back the aging "sluggers." Dip the shoulder and rip! I get that.....but what does it hurt to get rid of Walker and bring someone new in. Can it get worse? It's been highlighted here numerous times about hitters we have brought in and just turn to crap. At this point....something has to happen and Mr. Walker should be first to go!
  3. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ May 14, 2008 -> 10:38 PM) "It's not Greg Walker's fault, and the hitters KNOW that. *Scoffs* Greg Walker is FINE, he's a FINE hitting coach..." Ok.....fire Hawk too!
  4. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ May 14, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) You heard it here from Hawk Harrelson, folks: IT'S NOT GREG WALKER'S FAULT! I am watching the Angels broadcast.........Did he just say that again?
  5. Can you recall the last time we ever did what the Angels just did? Walk Stolen Base Move the runner over to third Sacrifice Fly
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ May 14, 2008 -> 08:12 PM) Thome K's no matter where. Had 2 hanging curves to rip and didn't swing. My thoughts exactly.....The first 4 pitches he could have offered at. The only one he swung at was the worst pitch of the AB.
  7. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 14, 2008 -> 09:04 PM) OMG baserunner. That was a gift.....let's capitalize!!!
  8. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ May 13, 2008 -> 11:40 PM) according to Hawk tonight, all Walker can do is suggest things It's frustrating enough just watching, but hearing those asinine comments only increase my anger
  9. This came from whitesox.com Tidbits Shortstop Orlando Cabrera received his trophy for winning the 2007 Rawlings Gold Glove prior to Monday's series opener. It was presented by Angels manager Mike Scioscia and was accompanied by a standing ovation from the Halos faithful. "I didn't think I was ever going to say this before, but I really miss the place," said Cabrera of Anaheim. "I really miss my ex-teammates. Those guys were great to me. The fans here are probably the best fans in baseball right now. I really miss it. Slowly, I'm making the transition to Chicago." Found this somewhat interesting..........
  10. QUOTE (YASNY @ May 11, 2008 -> 12:17 AM) Anderson and Uribe get kudos tonight. Imagine that! Never thought I would hear that sentence!!!!!
  11. QUOTE (YASNY @ May 10, 2008 -> 11:11 PM) Uribe has been hitting fairly well the last week or so. No hits tonight, but 2 walks. I know....its just the overall body of work. I just wonder whats going on in his head sometimes.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 10, 2008 -> 11:04 PM) I really like watching Uribe throw, he really has a cannon. I wonder if he's ever pitched before? Not as a professional, obviously. If there was only a Designated Fielder position........................
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 10, 2008 -> 11:02 PM) Turn 2 and suffocate hope. Nice Call!!!!!
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 9, 2008 -> 10:32 PM) There's no reason we shouldn't sweep this team. Now that I said that will probably lose the next 2. Right now....I'd settle for just winning the series
