  1. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 20, 2010 -> 10:07 AM) Hopefully I did alright. Felt like it took me about a segment to get used to how it works. Much more difficult when you are via the phone compared to everyone else being in studio. And if you guys can't tell, I really want Damon....like bad. How about where she brought up the Damon offer was off the table and you said they would revist it if he was interested and had until Sunday and she said " thats not what my sources are telling me ". I think she called you a liar. And the next interview, just leave out the part about you being an ex cub fan. LOL
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 05:20 PM) I'm thinking about driving over since I am in Vegas, but would have to come out before the NCAA tourney starts or in between the 2nd and 3rd rounds...I guess I need to look at flights too...Glendale is close to Phoenix, correct? Glendale owns Camelback Ranch and the land, but it stands in Phoenix. I've taken that drive a couple of times, it gets pretty boring and is a rough drive through the mountains. There is a lot of two lane roads & I liked the signs that said "watch for falling boulders" Ha Ha, I'd fly.
  3. QUOTE (tonyho7476 @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 10:42 AM) I'm going for the first time this year...the 19th and 20th...already thinking of getting blackhawks tickets for the 20th...anyway, what's the best hotel to stay at? Any thoughts on a must see place or restaurant? The Hotel depends on your price range. The White Sox team employes stay at Comfort Suites 1.5 mi. from CBR. Last year I stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites. Real nice hotel 3.2 mi to CBR. Across the street is westgate valley where all the action is and the coyotes hockey rink. On the other side was NCAA college BB final 4 (or final 8). The hotel was mostly Dodgers minor league players and coaches. The rates went way up this year so I'm staying at the Renaissance.
  4. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 12:30 PM) Is there a Sox spring training thread with info about Camelback?? Hotels, bars, restaurants etc... Feel free to delete this thread after pointing me in the right direction. Thanks! I got 2 links for you to get you started. The first is about Camelback, the second is westgate city center bars and restaurants and Jobing.com arena where the Blackhawks will be on Sat.3/20, the day afer Cubs/Sox game. camelback Westgate City Center
  5. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 31, 2009 -> 12:19 AM) Don't remember when Beckham won the R.O.Y. award, yet alone playing in the N.L. but that was a nice video. Beck has some nice tricks over there, teaching the youngsters. Not shure why the NL roy is on there either, but as a little league coach myself its nice to see a guy give back like this. But to teach kids behind the back stuff like that, at that age ?
  6. Found a video on the internet of Gordo and his dad going back to his youth baseball field. Some nice footage of Gordo all the way back to t-ball. check it out here
  7. Briggs will start in the Pro Bowl. Only Bear going.
  8. BLACKHAWKS (26-9-3) at STARS (16-11-11) tonight 7 PM. Game is on Versus. If you have Direct Tv. here is a Link
  9. Don't miss the premiere of Blackhawks tv tonight @ 7:00 pm on csn.
  10. If I'm not mistaken Niemi is a free agent at the end of the season . They need to clear even more salary than they thought.
  11. Wonder if Kenny's going to go after Seth McClung, a lot cheaper option ? I beleive he pitched well out of the bullpen and flopped as a starter with the brew crew.
  12. The A.L. Central is there for the taking. We just need a half way decent bullpen. Not signing Carrasco is a joke.

  14. QUOTE (ptatc @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 09:29 PM) Not uncommon to have forearm tightness after this type of surgery. When the UCL loosens the medial forearm muscles need to work a little more to help stabilize the elbow. As the UCL heals and tightens the forearm won't be an issue. Well I'm glad the Mets shut him down and he got the extra rest.
