I was just saying earlier how sick I was of seeing the Nolan Ryan/ Robin Ventura dust up (30 fucking years and they’re still talking about it) and now we’ll have to see this stupid knockout for another 30+ years. Why is Mike Clevinger still on this team? Why are Grandal and Andrus still here? Let all three go and give the kids as much playing time as possible to see what you have in them. Vets like Clevinger, Grandal and Andrus serve no purpose here.

I would love to be a fly on the wall during meetings between KW, JR and Hahn. I don't see how Hahn isn't ready to be put out of his misery. I bet he feels like he's usurped at every turn.

The Rangers have spent more than $500 million on their infield, have an all star catcher, traded for a very highly rated defensive catcher to back him up, and have an all star outfielder. The White Sox have never spent $100 million on a player. Apples and oranges.

And that random former player will be AJ Pierzynski, who’s never managed anything. This franchise is so depressing.

C- It's good that they got some arms but there's no way in hell they compete for anything next year so I don't know why they kept Cease. Even if they plan on spending money, no good free agents are going to want to come here. Maybe they trade Cease and others during the winter meetings?

Eh… I think this clubhouse leader thing is highly overrated. These are grown ass men and having some red ass in the locker room yelling at players isn’t going to fix things. As a matter of fact, I could see things being worse. The White Sox need better coaches and players.

I don't see the need to hang on to Robert or Cease. The farm is so barren and there's no guarantee that they'll still be good by the time this team is truly ready to compete again. But I guess that's part of JR's schtick of making fans believe that the team is competitive.

Hahn is going to resign and become the new athletic director for Northwestern.
