They should to turn him into an outfielder. This organization has no shortage of players who's weakness is catching a baseball.
-
Hate it when the defense knocks our starters out.
-
That inning was strange. It went smooth.
-
Yermin moves quite well for his size.

Forbes White Sox evaluation- #14 worth $1.685 Billion

Let's all chip in and buy them out, -
How does one now define cooling off for a guy like Yermin.

Same here. For health reasons I'm in bed 9 pm and I live in the West Coast viewing area. I miss those days when Mark B was on the mound and a game would end around 2 hours. I'm sure they could come up with all sorts of crazy ideas to speed up the game but it's a much different generation of baseball.

The game day threads were pretty bad when scrolling to get past members attacking each other. I don't remember it being that bad.
-
That means plenty of stupid mistakes young players make. We've seen Robert do an Eloy impersonation.

It's not the first time. -
Agree. It's not the end of the world. Maybe they feared backlash of hiring Hinch,
-
Doesn't have to be.

No it sucks because it brings politics into a non political forum.

Baseball Stupidity 101 - recommend former players with no managerial experience. -
I never understood the need to draft a 1st basemen. This organization seems to only produce guys that have defensive weaknesses so let's make them a 1B/DH . The world doesn't end if they keep Eloy in RF as long as there is a defense replacement in later innings.

State of Chicago baseball: the tipping point

I grew up as a Cub fan towards the end of the 60's. I could watch the last inning of the game after school. My dad was a Yankees fan and we started watching Sox baseball at night. That's when my allegiance changed. I still love those red pinstripe unis. -
Discuss. I think he survives on the success of more than a decade ago. I'm not sure he is effective anymore. Sometimes a change to make a change may be necessary. If it were like the NFL or NBA he would not have lasted this long.
-
If they fired Ricky and a new manager has the option of choosing his staff I think Coop stays,
-
I guess the good part is there's a lot of youth on this team that got exposed to post season baseball. This will be a plus in the future.

Fans don't seem to have patience when it comes to MLB. It's not like the NFL or NBA where a drafted player can make an immediate impact.
-
It seems like the hard throwing pitcher has a shorter career. Kids in the minors get shocked when they face major league hitters who can hit your 98 heater. We may never see a 300 game winner again.
-
Not with this organization,
-
Hitters do and it's usually out of the park. I don't think he's figured it yet that guys in the majors can turn on a 98mph fastball.

Never trade with Oakland either.
