Hahn: Andrew Vaughn "could help the team this season"
Thad Bosley replied to Jose Abreu's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The Sox are so close to having an unbelievably solid team up and down the order that they shouldn't settle for the kind of defense Vaughn would (or wouldn't) provide in right field, especially with Eloy's limited defense over in left. Just keep Vaughn in the 1B/DH mix and then go and get a true right fielder, one with plus defense and preferably a bat from the left side. -
Kopech still here...✅ Vaughn still here...✅ Madrigal still here...✅ Dunning still here...✅ I’m good!

The balance of power, speed, and defense across this roster is about as ideal as it can get. -

Realistic trade candidates AKA The Lynnsanity Thread
Thad Bosley replied to Orlando's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I would not trade any of our blue chip prospects at this point, i.e. Kopech, Cease, Vaughn. If this season has proven anything, the Sox are on the cusp of breaking out into a dynasty-type team, and that’s due to the emergence of the other elite prospects. The offense is just slightly ahead of the pitching at the moment. Just a little more patience with the pitching, let it catch up, let Kopech work himself into the mix, and then watch this team really take off.
