Putz hit 95 on opening day. I'm fairly confident he'll contribute and be effective. At the very least, Santos gives us another R option out of the pen that doesn't make me break things (remotes).

Cowley was on the Danny Mac show today. He said we could being seeing Santos in more "key pressure situations" as the year wears on. Might even see him in the role as early as June (if Jenks falters of course). What do you guys think? I know it was only one outing, but he looked pretty solid. That straight change looked nasty after a steady diet of straight heat. Or a fastball in the ear. I'm sure he wants his own site so he can sell Ozzie coffee mugs, neck ties, etc... I feel like I'd be more concerned about the twitter and the FB accounts if I were the front office. Plus It's not as if he's made inflammatory remarks this spring with them. Half the posts are in Spanish or about what he's cooking at his BBQs. What concerns me, is that Ozzie and Kenny have butted heads a lot this off season. It's what, only March for God's sake?
