  1. Interesting because it involves one of the players scheduled to attend Soxfest? Or simply because they want to announce it at the opening ceremony?
  2. There absolutely is going to be some movement at some point. Hahn even mentioned prospect for prospect trades a few times. Dunning would be tough, he seems like a really solid bet to crack the rotation. I'm really curious to see who out of the OF bunch sticks around.
  3. Yea, you respond to that after the meeting takes place. I believe it was discussed after his Yankees meeting. Seems oddly placed to discuss that at this point, this far into the process. Unless the media are legitimately grasping at any other Machado content they haven't already beaten to death.
  4. Really surprised seeing Madrigal over Kopech and Cease. Iā€™d love to know how far out Adolfo was - he seems like he could possibly sneak in at the tail end of some lists.
  5. What's the chance they actually are waiting until SoxFest? With the way this offseason has gone, nothing would surprise me.
  6. Slow news day, but the Sox did make at least one transaction today. Went out and got themselves a 34 yr. old for Charlotte that hasn't played since 2017. Who needs Manny!
  7. Oh, I'm sure we'll get some during this weekend.
  8. I feel like this would be a domino effect move. If it's still being discussed, there are probably other moves still being worked on (like the Dodgers signing Pollock).
  9. Great point. A trade would open up the 40-Man. Plus I would thing the chance it's a minor league signing is high too.
  10. Certainly can give that appearance. The writing is on the wall that both these teams chances of landing one or the other are extremely high - feels just like J.D. Martinez last offseason..
  11. I'd add one of these guys from the right side: Boxberger, Brach, or Strickland
  12. Well, that's good to hear. Too bad he didn't want to play here.
  13. Absolutely it's a collapsed market. I think his antics definitely caused the split in the Yankees FO, and could have scared the smaller market teams away. Smaller market teams can't afford to hand out a contract of that size for a player they may deem questionable only to have it bite them in the end.
  14. Unless they really think Cease is going to need minimal time down in Charlotte? Cooper keeps raving about him.
